FAQ

Can You Buy Arsenal Tickets Without Membership?

As there is such high demand, it is very difficult to buy Arsenal tickets if you don’t have a membership. Very few tickets go on general sale to the public at the official Arsenal box office. Even if you are a member, there are no guarantees.

With Arsenal Membership you have to enter a ballot for the chance to get Arsenal match tickets. Even if you’re successful you don’t get to choose the location of your seat or the price of your ticket.

The good news is you can get hold of match-day tickets without Arsenal membership on Ticket Compare.

How to Buy Arsenal Tickets

If you’re looking to purchase Arsenal tickets, Ticket Compare can help you find tickets for all of their upcoming fixtures across various competitions.

Simply find the fixture you want to buy tickets for and click the ‘Tickets from £x’ button. From there, you’ll be taken to a ticket comparison screen. This outlines the various ticket outlets that have tickets available, along with their price.

Choose the price you would like to pay and click the ‘Get Tickets’ button. You’ll then be taken to the relevant page on the ticket outlet's site, where you can follow their on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

How to Buy Cheap Arsenal Tickets

Cheap arsenal tickets can be hard to get hold of, even with a membership, while season tickets can involve long waiting lists.

So, the best option for many fans is to buy Arsenal FC tickets from a secondary seller. Our site helps you find the best AFC ticket prices from the most reliable secondary sellers.

For the cheapest Arsenal tickets, it’s a good idea to search for seats behind the goals in the Lower Tier, or in the highest rows in the Upper Tier, also in the North Bank or Clock End.

It also pays to be flexible about the match you watch. For example, a fixture against a team at the bottom of the league will be cheaper than one against a close rival, or EFL cup tickets.

Arsenal’s new ballot system makes it impossible to guarantee a ticket for a specific game. So, if you are travelling to see a game on a specific date, the secondary market is the only reliable way to ensure you get a ticket for a match.

How Much is an Arsenal Season Ticket?

Arsenal season ticket prices vary. They range from £1,206 to £2,250 if Arsenal are in the UEFA Champions League. If Arsenal are not in Europe, the average General Admission season ticket price will be significantly cheaper.

The demand is extremely high, and the Arsenal season ticket waiting list is up to 20 years long.

How Does Arsenal Membership Work?

One way to get Arsenal tickets is by becoming an Arsenal Red Member. You have to pay an annual fee of £34, and will enter a ballot for each matchday ticket. Using this lottery system, your chances of securing a ticket can be extremely slim.

On average, someone with Arsenal Red Membership will stand a 10% chance of getting a ticket for a given match via the ballot. The chances are even smaller for the biggest matches. We explain the whole process in our complete guide to Arsenal Membership.

To avoid any doubt, many fans rely on the secondary market, especially if they are heading to London from abroad and need specific Premier League tickets.

Briefly, there are several levels of Arsenal FC membership. Red is the basic level open to all, but there are long-term waiting lists for Arsenal Silver membership and Arsenal Gold Membership (Season Tickets). People wait many years to be eligible for these levels.

For season-long Arsenal Club Level tickets there’s Platinum Membership, which is easier to obtain than Arsenal Gold Membership, but much more expensive.

How to Get Arsenal Champions League Tickets

As Arsenal have only just returned into the Champions League competition, tickets for their Champions League matches are in extremely high demand.

We recommend heading to the Champions League tickets section of our website to see which tickets become available for Europe’s most prestigious competition.

What Arsenal Hospitality Tickets Are Available?

For fans willing to pay a premium, there are various Arsenal FC hospitality packages to consider at the Emirates Stadium. These include the following:

  • Foundry Legends
  • Executive Box N1
  • Executive Box N5
  • Executive Box N7
  • Inner Circle Club
  • Woolwich Hero Experience
  • The Heritage
  • The Avenell

As well as Arsenal club level tickets, each package offers a range of perks, from complimentary champagne to meet-and-greets with an Arsenal legend.

Can I Buy Arsenal Tickets Outside The EU?

Yes, it's possible to buy Arsenal tickets from outside the European Union from the secondary sellers that we recommend on our site, even if box office tickets are sold out.

So no matter which country you’re living in, you’ll be able to buy tickets to watch “The Gunners” this season.

About Arsenal Tickets 2023/24

Known for innovation, a sense of tradition, and a touch of class, Arsenal are a club like no other in the Premier League.

In 1931 Arsenal became the first London team to win a top-flight title, and in 2003/04 became the first team in the history of the Premier League to go an entire season unbeaten.

As of today they have won the third-most top-flight league titles (13), and hold the record for most FA Cup wins (14).

Arsenal are known for their iconic red shirts with white sleeves, and for sticking with their managers for a long time. The Gunners have a reputation for an entertaining, technical style first introduced by the long-term previous manager Arsène Wenger in the 1990s.

Arsenal Nicknames

Arsenal’s main nickname is The Gunners. This goes back to when the club was founded in 1886 by munitions workers at the Royal Arsenal complex in Woolwich, southeast London.

Arsenal fans also call themselves “The Gooners”, which comes from Gunners, and was adopted in the rowdy days of the 1970s.

The famous Arsenal team that won the Premier League in 2003/04 without losing a single game, is remembered as The Invincibles.

Famous Arsenal Players

Some of the best players in Premier League history have played for Arsenal. From Thierry Henry to Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira, these players have lit up the pitch and entertained fans all over the world.

Henry is easily one of the best players to ever wear an Arsenal shirt. He is the club's all-time leading scorer and was part of two Premier League-winning teams. He was also voted Footballer of the Year three times and is the only player in the history of the Premier League to register 20+ goals and 20+ assists in the same season (2002/03).

The Dutch technician, Bergkamp is another Arsenal legend. He scored 120 goals for the club and was part of three Premier League-winning sides. Famous for his touch and vision, he is considered one of the greatest players to play in England, and was named Footballer of the Year in 2002.

Completing this trio is French midfielder, Patrick Vieira, who was the heartbeat of Arsenal’s league-winning teams under Arsène Wenger in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He combined a combative style with athletic prowess, technical ability and vision.

Before Wenger arrived in 1996, Arsenal were known for being gritty and defensively solid. Wenger built his 1998 title-winning team on the foundation of a strong defensive backline, made up of the likes of Tony Adams, David Seaman, Martin Keown and Lee Dixon.

Rivalries

Arsenal’s two biggest rivalries are with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. After that, every match against a London team, whether it’s Chelsea or West Ham United, is a derby.

Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal's biggest rival is without doubt Tottenham Hotspur. The two clubs are based just a few miles from each other in North London, and enjoy one of the fiercest rivalries in English football. Arsenal and Spurs have met more than 200 times, and the fixtures between them are always eagerly anticipated by fans of both clubs.

The mutual dislike between the teams has deep roots. In 1913, Arsenal relocated from Woolwich in southeast London to Highbury in the north. Tottenham Hotspur still see Arsenal as interlopers, and not a real North London club.

The rivalry heated up in 1919, when the old First Division was expanded after the First World War. With the help of some alleged bribery, Arsenal secured enough votes to earn a place in the top league, at Tottenham’s expense. Arsenal have never been relegated since that day.

Manchester United

Arsenal’s other main rivalry is with Manchester United. Matches between the two clubs are always intense. During a match in 1990 a mass brawl broke out on the pitch, resulting in a two-point deduction for Arsenal. Arsenal won the league that season anyway.

Later, in the late 1990s and early 2000s the two teams battled for all of the domestic English titles. Off the pitch, managers Arsène Wenger and Alex Ferguson maintained a long-running war of words in the media.

On the pitch, famous Premier League midfielders Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira typified the rivalry with physical confrontations and a lot of intensity.
