Burnley
Burnley were founded in 1882, and were one of the first to become professional in 1883. The club was also one of the 12 founder members of the Football League in 1888-89. Burnley gained promotion to the top flight in 2023, and are keen to stay there.

Turf Moor
Turf Moor is where Burnley call home, and the site has been used for sporting activities since 1843. Burnley have played at Turf Moor since 1883, making it the second-longest continuously used ground in English professional football. The ground has a capacity of 21,944.
Man City
Man City were formed as St. Mark's in 1880, before changing their name to Manchester City in 1894. The club have seen great success over the years, having won nine league titles, seven FA Cups, eight League Cups, six FA Community Shields, one UEFA Champions League, one European Cup Winners' Cup and one UEFA Super Cup.

Etihad Stadium
Etihad Stadium was originally built to host the 2002 Commonwealth Games, and has been used by Man City since 2003. The Etihad Stadium has a domestic football capacity of 53,400, making it the ninth-largest football stadium in the UK. The Etihad always promises an exciting atmosphere, and the Burnley vs Man City game will be no exception.
