Coventry City Membership: What You Need to Know
Written by Aviran Zazon
Coventry City membership is the primary route to home tickets for supporters who do not have a season ticket during the 2026/27 Premier League season.
Adult, Teen, Junior and International members receive priority access to home league and cup tickets before general sale.
We should say up top that membership does not reserve a seat, guarantee a ticket or automatically enter the supporter into a home ticket ballot.
Coventry membership buys an earlier opportunity to purchase, rather than admission to a particular match.
That’s worth pointing out now because Coventry’s general admission season ticket allocation is already fully subscribed at around 24,000, while the CBS Arena’s football capacity is 32,609.
Once away supporters, hospitality, segregation, accessible seating, media positions, club allocations and operational holds are included, the number of standard match tickets will be much smaller than the difference between those two figures.

Coventry City Membership: In Brief
For supporters considering a Coventry City membership in 2026/27:
- Adult membership costs at least $65, including the processing fee.
- Teen and International membership each cost at least $51.
- Junior Sky Blues membership costs at least $44.
- Members receive priority access to home league and cup tickets before general sale.
- The normal system is an advance purchasing window.
- Priority is ordinarily limited to one match ticket per member.
- Membership does not guarantee tickets, adjacent seats or access to every fixture.
- Every membership includes 50 Coventry City loyalty points.
- The separate Away Ticket Ballot Membership is available only to 2026/27 season ticket holders.
Coventry officially launched its new club-wide membership structure on 17 July 2026, following promotion and the complete take-up of its available season ticket allocation.
Coventry City Membership Prices for 2026/27
There are four ordinary supporter memberships and one separate product for season ticket holders seeking away tickets.
| Membership | Eligibility | Advertised Price | Processing Fee | Minimum Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adult Sky Blues | UK residents aged 18 or over | $60 | $4 | $65 |
| Teen Sky Blues | Ages 14 to 17 | $47 | $4 | $51 |
| Junior Sky Blues | Ages 3 to 13 | $40 | $4 | $44 |
| International Sky Blues | Supporters resident outside the UK | $47 | $4 | $51 |
| Away Ticket Ballot | 2026/27 season ticket holders only | $40 | $4 | $44 |
These totals include the $4 processing fee charged on each membership. Coventry’s ticketing listings also warn that advertised prices may exclude delivery, payment or other administration charges, so they are best treated as the known minimum costs.
Membership age categories are based on the supporter’s age on 31 August 2026. Teen and Junior members may need to provide proof of age before their benefits are activated.
How to Buy Coventry City Tickets with Membership
Adult, Teen, Junior and International members receive priority access to tickets at the CBS Arena for home Premier League, FA Cup and EFL Cup matches.
Coventry’s ordinary membership scheme is based on a priority purchasing period before general sale.
In practical terms, this is likely to work on a first-come-first-served basis. Members who enter the sale early will have the widest choice, and availability can run out before every interested member has bought a seat.
The club demonstrated this type of process for the August 2026 friendly against Espanyol. Members received an advance window before tickets reached general sale on 28 July.
Coventry can introduce additional restrictions for an individual match, including:
- A ballot.
- Previous purchase-history requirements.
- Loyalty-point thresholds.
- Reduced ticket limits.
- Additional eligibility conditions.
- Restrictions imposed for safety or policing reasons.
Supporters therefore need to read the announcement for every fixture rather than assuming that one successful purchase establishes the rules for the rest of the season.
How many tickets can one member buy?
The standard priority entitlement is one ticket per member.
Two supporters who want to attend together will normally need two memberships. A family of four will ordinarily require four memberships to obtain four tickets during the members’ sale.
Accounts can be connected through Coventry’s online network, allowing one lead purchaser to select seats and complete the transaction. Each ticket must still be assigned to an eligible named account when membership is required.
Linking accounts does not guarantee adjacent seats. A group can sit together only if enough neighbouring seats remain when the booking is completed.
Coventry City Membership Benefits Compared
Ticket priority is the central benefit across every ordinary membership, although the supporting perks differ by age and location.
| Membership | Main Ticket Benefit | Other Notable Benefits | Main Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adult Sky Blues | Home league and cup priority | 50 points, welcome gift, two 10% shop offers excluding kit, e-cards | Highest ordinary membership price |
| Teen Sky Blues | Same home ticket priority as adults | 50 points, welcome gift, shop offers and e-cards | No junior match ticket discount |
| Junior Sky Blues | Home league and cup priority | $7 league ticket discount, gift pack, mascot-package priority, competitions and training-session access | Accompanying adult needs separate priority |
| International Sky Blues | Home league and cup priority | 50 points, free digital home programmes and shop offers | No ring-fenced international allocation advertised |
Adult Sky Blues membership
Adult membership costs at least $65 and derives most of its practical value from earlier home ticket access.
The welcome gift, online-store discounts and e-cards are supplementary. Kit is excluded from both the welcome and birthday 10% store offers, which limits their value for members primarily interested in replica shirts.
Adult membership is best suited to someone who wants to attend several matches, can react quickly when tickets go on sale and is reasonably flexible about the opponent, date and seat location.
Teen Sky Blues membership
Teen members receive essentially the same published benefits as adults for $13 less.
The product includes home ticket priority, 50 loyalty points, a welcome gift, shop offers and seasonal communications. It does not include the $7 match ticket reduction available to Junior Sky Blues members.
Junior Sky Blues membership
Junior Sky Blues offers the broadest package of benefits.
A Junior member who does not hold a season ticket receives a $7 discount on their own home league ticket. The discount cannot be transferred to an accompanying adult.
Six discounted league tickets save $40, matching the advertised membership price. Seven discounted tickets save $47, exceeding the $44 minimum cost once the processing fee is included. A child attending six or seven league matches can therefore recover most or all of the membership cost through ticket discounts alone.
Junior members also receive priority access to home mascot packages, competitions, a welcome pack and priority access to tickets for an open training session. Children under 14 must be accompanied inside the stadium, and the accompanying adult will normally need an Adult membership to buy during the same priority window.
International Sky Blues membership
International membership costs at least $51 and offers the same fundamental home ticket priority as Adult membership.
Its distinct benefit is free access to digital home matchday programmes. It does not advertise a guaranteed allocation reserved for overseas supporters, so an International member enters the priority ticket process rather than a separate tourist sale.
This makes the membership more useful for an overseas supporter with several possible travel dates than someone booking a non-refundable trip around one specific opponent.
How Valuable Is Membership for Getting Tickets?
Membership is likely to be highly useful and potentially close to essential for Premier League home matches, although Coventry has not published the exact number of match tickets available to members.
It would be misleading to subtract 24,000 season tickets from the 32,609 capacity and conclude that 8,609 member tickets remain.
Visiting supporters, hospitality clients, directors, media, sponsors, accessible provision, segregation and operational holds all reduce the ordinary match-by-match inventory.
The likely value also changes by fixture. Membership should be especially important for matches against major Premier League clubs and attractive weekend fixtures.
General sale may remain a realistic option for selected friendlies or lower-demand early cup ties, although that depends on the opponent, scheduling and pricing.
Membership costs for groups
Because every supporter normally needs a membership, the upfront outlay can grow quickly.
| Group | Membership Combination | Minimum Cost Before Match Tickets |
|---|---|---|
| One adult | One Adult | $65 |
| Two adults | Two Adults | $129 |
| One adult and one junior | Adult and Junior | $109 |
| Two adults and two juniors | Two Adults and two Juniors | $218 |
| Two adults, one teen and one junior | Two Adults, Teen and Junior | $224 |
For a regular individual supporter, $65 may be a reasonable price for a season of priority sales. For a family spending at least $218 before buying four match tickets, membership becomes a more substantial commitment.
It is particularly speculative when the group wants only one high-demand match. Membership fees are non-refundable, including when the holder fails to obtain their preferred tickets.
Members still need to act quickly
Priority has value only when the member uses it. Supporters should:
- Monitor Coventry’s ticket announcements.
- Note the exact opening time of their sales window.
- Verify that every account is working.
- Link friends and family before the sale.
- Check that tickets can be assigned to the correct members.
- Complete the purchase while suitable inventory remains.
The club does not reserve one seat for every person who buys a membership.
What Do Coventry’s 50 Loyalty Points Mean?
Every membership includes 50 loyalty points, giving new members an immediate starting balance within Coventry’s wider priority system.
That is useful for building purchase history, particularly when future cup or away ticket sales use points. It does not place a new member near the front of every queue. A 2026/27 season ticket is worth 230 points, while regular away followers may have accumulated much larger totals.
Ordinary Adult, Teen, Junior and International memberships do not automatically include the defined away ticket ballot. Their 50 points should be treated as a starting award, not a shortcut around fixture-specific eligibility requirements.
How the Away Ticket Ballot Membership Works
The Away Ticket Ballot Membership is a separate $44 product available exclusively to Coventry’s 2026/27 season ticket holders.
It does not help a non-season ticket holder obtain away tickets, and the club can cancel an ineligible purchase without refund. Applications for the 2026/27 product close at 4pm on 31 July 2026.
Where Coventry receives an PL away allocation of at least 2,000 tickets, 10% of that allocation is placed into the ballot.
| Coventry Away Allocation | Ballot Allocation |
|---|---|
| 2,000 | 200 |
| 2,500 | 250 |
| 3,000 | 300 |
The terms do not promise a ballot allocation when Coventry receives fewer than 2,000 tickets.
Members must actively enter each fixture’s ballot. Buying the product does not automatically enter the holder into every draw.
Up to six eligible supporters can apply together, with one person linking five additional Away Ballot members. Everyone in the group must hold both a valid season ticket and the ballot membership, as well as meeting any extra conditions for that fixture.
A successful applicant must then miss the next two away ballots, even when they decide not to buy the ticket offered. The system is designed to spread successful applications among a wider group of season ticket holders.
When Was Coventry City Membership Introduced?
Coventry membership has two different starting points.
The current Adult, Teen, International and Away Ballot products were introduced in July 2026. This was the first modern Coventry membership structure offering conventional ticket priority to adult, teenage and overseas supporters.
Junior Sky Blues is much older. The junior supporters’ organisation was founded in 1970 and has offered various combinations of discounted tickets, gifts, points, events, mascot opportunities and family activities over its history.
The 2026/27 changes therefore combine a continuation of the historic Junior Sky Blues scheme with the creation of a new all-age supporter membership programme.
Coventry has also previously used the word membership for season-long hospitality products such as Club Coventry and Legends Membership. Those packages include hospitality seating and other matchday benefits, and should not be confused with the $40 to $60 supporter memberships introduced in 2026.
What Can You Do If Membership Falls Short?
Membership is strongest when the supporter can consider several fixtures. It becomes less dependable when someone must attend one particular match on a fixed travel date.
This concern commonly arises among visitors who are unfamiliar with membership and purchase-history systems, as illustrated by the individual tourist question below.
The post represents one traveller’s question rather than evidence about Coventry’s ticketing system. The practical lesson is to secure a match ticket before committing to non-refundable travel and accommodation.
When official member availability is exhausted, supporters may also consider hospitality or the secondary market.
Ticket-Compare.com is a comparison platform aggregating tickets from pre-vetted resale sites and official ticketing partners, often including hospitality, so supporters can compare prices and availability without opening each provider separately.
Buyers then click through to complete the purchase with the respective site.

Coventry City Membership | Frequently Asked Questions
Does Coventry City membership guarantee tickets?
No. Membership gives the holder priority access before general sale, subject to availability and any rules imposed for the fixture. It does not guarantee a ticket, admission to a particular match, a preferred block or adjacent seats for a group.
Is Coventry’s home ticket membership ballot-based?
Not by default. The standard benefit is an earlier purchasing window, with members expected to buy from the available inventory. Coventry retains the right to introduce a ballot or additional restrictions for an individual high-demand fixture.
Does every person attending need a membership?
Every supporter normally needs their own membership to obtain one ticket during a members-only priority sale. One purchaser can manage linked accounts and buy for the group, but each ticket must be assigned to an eligible supporter.
Can ordinary members buy Coventry away tickets?
Ordinary membership awards 50 loyalty points, which may contribute towards future eligibility, but it does not automatically grant away ticket access. The defined Away Ticket Ballot Membership is available only to 2026/27 season ticket holders.
Do Junior Sky Blues members receive discounted tickets?
Eligible Junior Sky Blues members receive $7 off their own home league tickets when they are not season ticket holders. The discount does not apply to the accompanying adult and does not cover home cup tickets under the published benefit.
Is there a special ticket allocation for international members?
Coventry has not advertised a ring-fenced international allocation. International members receive priority access before general sale alongside the broader membership structure, meaning availability is still affected by demand and fixture-specific restrictions.
Can a disabled member obtain priority for a personal assistant?
A qualifying personal assistant does not need a separately purchased membership. The disabled member or their representative should contact the Ticket Office so that matching priority can be applied to the assistant’s account. That access can be used only when attending with the disabled supporter.
Can a Coventry membership be refunded?
Memberships are non-refundable after purchase. Coventry does not promise a refund when a member does not use the benefits, fails to obtain match tickets, experiences a fixture change or finds that an allocation has been reduced.
Is Coventry City Membership Worth Buying?
Coventry City membership is likely to be worth buying for a supporter who wants to attend several home matches, is flexible about fixtures and can join ticket sales promptly.
It is much less certain for someone targeting only one major Premier League match. The $65 Adult membership fee buys priority across the season, not a reservation for that particular game.
Junior Sky Blues offers the clearest measurable saving because its $7 league ticket discount can recover the membership cost over six or seven matches. International membership is also competitively priced, although overseas supporters should not mistake it for a guaranteed tourist allocation.
The central point is simple. Membership is likely to be Coventry’s normal route into Premier League home ticket sales, while general sale may be limited or unavailable for many fixtures.
It substantially improves a non-season ticket holder’s opportunity to buy Premier League tickets, but it never removes the need to act quickly or the risk of missing out.
In the meantime there are 52,762 Coventry City tickets on sale via Ticket-Compare.com, with the cheapest on sale from $56.
A CCFC match attracting a lot of buyers today is Arsenal vs Coventry at $169 but you can still get a seat with Ticket-Compare.com.
