Brighton were formed in 1901 and have a long and proud history. The Seagulls have an interesting style of play that makes their games a treat to watch. Many legendary players have come from Brighton & Hove Albion, who all made their mark during their time at the club. Noteworthy Albion players include Glenn Murray, Bobby Zamora, Kit Napier, Danny Cullip and top goalscorer, Tommy Cook.

AMEX Stadium

Brighton have played their games at the AMEX Stadium, also called the Falmer Stadium, since 2011. The AMEX Stadium has a capacity of 31,800 and is the second-largest stadium in all of South East England. Before moving to the AMEX, Brighton played at the Goldstone Ground between 1902 and 1997, moving on to Gillingham for the following two years, and then Withdean Stadium where they played from 1999 to 2011.

Everton

Everton is one of the most successful clubs in the country, and have a multitude of trophies under their belt including nine league titles, five FA Cups, one European Cup Winners' Cup, and nine Charity Shields. Due to their popularity, tickets to see Everton games can be very difficult to get your hands on. Everton’s all-time record goalscorer is Dixie Dean, who scored 383 goals in 433 appearances. Other notable players include Wayne Rooney, who joined Everton in 2004, and Duncan Ferguson, who joined the team from Dundee in 1993.

Goodison Park

Everton’s home ground is Goodison Park, where they have played since its completion in 1892. The historic stadium has hosted more top-flight games than any other stadium in England. Goodison Park has also hosted numerous international fixtures, as well as an FA Cup Final. With an all-seated capacity of 39,414, it is one of the smaller stadiums in the Premier League, but this doesn’t stop Evertonians from creating a brilliant atmosphere on match days.
