About Leicester City

Leicester City Football Club, also known as the Foxes, is a professional football club based in Leicester, England. The club was founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse FC, eventually changing their name to Leicester City in 1919. King Power Stadium has served as the home of Leicester City Football Club since 2002. The stadium replaced Filbert Street as Leicester City's home ground and has a capacity of 32,500.
