Coventry City Season Tickets: What Fans Need to Know
Written by Aviran Zazon
In the 2020s Coventry City season tickets have become a rare commodity at the CBS Arena.
To illustrate, the club’s entire general admission allocation for the 2026/27 Premier League season was taken up by existing holders, meaning there was no sale for newcomers after the renewal window.
Adult prices start at $840, while the most expensive ordinary season tickets cost $1,075.
Coventry have around 24,000 general admission season ticket holders at the 32,609-capacity CBS Arena, although the club does not publish an exact total.
Supporters who missed out must now look towards the official waiting list for 2027/28 onwards, individual match tickets or seasonal hospitality.

How Much Does a Coventry City Season Ticket Cost?
In 2026/27, the price of an adult general admission season ticket ranges from $840 to $1,075.
Coventry have three general admission price zones: Standard, Family and Premium. The cheapest adult ticket costs $840 in either the Standard or Family Zone, while every Premium Zone ticket costs $1,075.
| Age category | Standard Zone | Family Zone | Premium Zone |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adult | $840 | $840 | $1,075 |
| Senior 65+ | $786 | $786 | $1,075 |
| Young Adult 18 to 21 | $786 | $786 | $1,075 |
| Under 18 | $511 | $383 | $1,075 |
| Under 14 | $383 | $255 | $1,075 |
As the season ticket covers 19 Premier League home matches, a Standard adult ticket works out at $44 per game. The Premium Zone costs $57 per match, irrespective of the holder’s age.
The Family Zone offers the lowest junior rates. An Under-18 ticket costs the equivalent of $20 per match, while an Under-14 ticket works out at $13.
Adults cannot use the zone simply as a cheaper seating option, however. Each package must contain both adults and juniors, with no more than two juniors for each adult.
How much did prices increase?
There was no early-bird price for 2026/27. Coventry published one renewal price after promotion, whereas the previous campaign had both early-bird and regular phases.
Compared with the 2025/26 regular Standard adult price of $726, the new $840 ticket represents an increase of 15.7%.
The effective increase per match is considerably greater because Coventry season tickets now cover 19 league games rather than 23.
A Standard adult ticket rose from approximately $32 per Championship match at the 2025/26 regular price to $44 per Premier League match, an increase of just over 40% per game.
Longstanding supporters who bought at the 2025/26 early-bird price of $591 face a larger change. For them, the headline cost has risen by approximately 42%, while the per-match price has increased by roughly 72%.
The Premium Zone has also lost its age-related reductions. Seniors, young adults and children now pay the same $1,075 price as adults.
Are Coventry City Season Tickets Sold Out?
Yes. Coventry City’s ordinary general admission season tickets are sold out for 2026/27.
Only existing 2025/26 holders were invited to renew. Once those renewals and subsequent seat moves had been processed, the club confirmed that its full allocation had been taken.
There was no waiting list purchasing window or general sale for newcomers. A supporter without a 2025/26 season ticket could not obtain a new one for 2026/27, regardless of their membership, ticket history or Coventry City loyalty-point balance.
This differs from 2025/26, when new buyers paid $13 to join a waiting list and were subsequently invited into a controlled sales window. That process allowed some supporters to buy seats released after the existing holder deadline.
Seasonal hospitality remains a separate product. Availability in a hospitality lounge or Premium Membership area does not mean that ordinary general admission season tickets are still on sale.
How Does the Coventry City Season Ticket Waiting List Work?
Coventry have opened a new waiting list for supporters hoping to buy a season ticket from 2027/28 onwards.
Joining costs a one-off, non-refundable $13 fee through the club’s e-ticketing website. Paying the fee does not guarantee that the supporter will receive a season ticket in 2027/28.
The number of seats available will depend on several factors, including:
- How many existing holders decide not to renew
- Whether Coventry alter the season ticket cap
- Changes to segregation or away allocations
- Seats retained for individual match sales
- Changes to hospitality or operational areas
Coventry have not yet confirmed whether future offers will be made in exact joining order, through invitation groups, by ballot or through another method.
The 2025/26 process provides the best indication. Waiting list members received access to a dedicated sales period once renewals and seat movements had been processed.
They still had to log in and select from the seats available; joining the list did not reserve an individual seat automatically.
How Many Coventry City Season Ticket Holders Are There?
Our best estimate is around 24,000 in 2026/27
Coventry capped season ticket sales at 24,000 for 2025/26 to preserve space for individual match sales, away supporters, segregation and stadium operations.
The club has confirmed that its comparable 2026/27 allocation is fully subscribed, although it has not announced an exact final number.
Season ticket demand has risen sharply since Coventry returned to the CBS Arena.
| Season | Published sales info |
|---|---|
| 2021/22 | Around 9,300 Ricoh Return packages |
| 2022/23 | Surpassed the previous modern record of 12,457 |
| 2023/24 | Approximately 19,424 to 19,500 |
| 2024/25 | More than 21,500 |
| 2025/26 | Around 24,000 |
| 2026/27 | Entire available allocation taken |
Coventry have therefore progressed from approximately 9,300 return packages in 2021 to a fully allocated total of around 24,000 within five years.
How Have Coventry Season Ticket Prices Changed?
Comparisons over a longer period are complicated by changes to Coventry’s products and pricing zones. The 2021/22 Ricoh Return Membership, for example, bundled the season ticket with additional membership benefits.
The table below follows the cheapest meaningful adult route offered during the principal sales period.
| Season | Adult price | League matches | Approximate cost per game |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2021/22 | $402 | 23 | $17 |
| 2022/23 | $464 | 23 | $20 |
| 2023/24 | $538 | 23 | $23 |
| 2024/25 | $538 | 23 | $23 |
| 2025/26 | $591 | 23 | $26 |
| 2026/27 | $840 | 19 | $44 |
The headline adult price has increased by approximately 109% since 2021/22, while the cost per league game has risen by around 153%.
Those figures require context. The 2021/22 return package was deliberately unusual, and Coventry have since progressed from the Championship into the Premier League.
Even so, the 2026/27 increase represents a clear change in what supporters pay for each included match.
Coventry Season Ticket Prices Compared With Inflation
The $402 Ricoh Return Membership went on sale in March 2021. To compare it fairly with the 2026/27 price, we have adjusted that figure using the UK Consumer Prices Index from March 2021 to June 2026, when Coventry’s latest renewal window opened.
The Office for National Statistics recorded a CPI index of 109.4 in March 2021 and 142.5 in June 2026, meaning consumer prices rose by approximately 30.3% over the period.
| Season or scenario | Adult price | League matches | Approximate cost per game |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2021/22 actual price | $402 | 23 | $17 |
| 2021/22 price adjusted for inflation | $523 | 23 | $23 |
| 2026/27 actual price | $840 | 19 | $44 |
Had the $402 package simply risen in line with inflation, it would cost approximately $523 in June 2026. Coventry’s actual $840 Standard adult price is therefore $317 higher, or approximately 60.5% above the inflation-adjusted figure.
The gap is even larger when the number of included league matches is considered. The inflation-adjusted 2021/22 price works out at $23 per match, compared with $44 in 2026/27.
On that basis, the current cost per game is approximately 94.2% higher than an inflation-linked equivalent.
We should point out that this is an imperfect comparison because the Ricoh Return Membership was an unusually subsidised product with additional benefits, while the 2026/27 ticket covers Premier League rather than Championship football.
Even with those qualifications, the figures show that Coventry’s season ticket price has risen much faster than general consumer inflation.
Where Do Coventry City Season Ticket Holders Sit?
Season ticket holders are spread across most home sections of the CBS Arena rather than occupying one dedicated stand.
Premium Zone
The Premium Zone includes centrally positioned East Stand seats, particularly in Blocks 19, 20 and 21. These offer a side-on view close to the halfway line.
Despite the name, this is a general admission seating category. It does not include the lounges, catering or other benefits associated with seasonal hospitality in areas such as The Mill, Legends or Club Coventry.
Family Zone
The Family Zone covers Blocks 31 to 34 around the North Stand and north-west corner. It combines cheaper junior tickets with a family-focused matchday area.
Adults must attend as part of a qualifying family group. An adult whose associated junior cannot attend may need to contact the Ticket Office rather than using the Family Zone place alone.
Standard Zone
The Standard Zone covers most remaining home seating, including sections of the East Stand, North Stand, corners and selected areas towards the South Stand.
Supporters looking for the strongest atmosphere have traditionally chosen the south-east corner known as Singers’ Corner. Home safe-standing sections have included Blocks 11, 12, 13 and 14.
Some South Stand and Block 13 holders may need to relocate for cup fixtures when visiting clubs are entitled to a larger allocation. Cup matches are not included in the season ticket, although affected holders normally receive purchasing priority elsewhere.
You can check these locations in a bit more detail via our CBS Arena seating plan.
Who Gets a Free Coventry City Season Ticket?
Approximately 5,000 qualifying supporters are expected to benefit from Coventry’s Premier League Package promise.
The original package was introduced in 2023/24 at $672 for every age category. Supporters who continued renewing while Coventry remained outside the Premier League were promised a free season ticket for the club’s first campaign back in the top flight.
Premier League Package 2.0 followed in 2024/25 at $739 and operated on a similar basis.
The free ticket was not issued without action. Eligible supporters still had to renew during the designated window, maintain the package in the same name and pay any applicable processing charge.
The entitlement lasts for 2026/27 only, and normal season ticket pricing resumes from 2027/28.
What Are the Benefits of a Coventry City Season Ticket?
The main benefit is a guaranteed designated seat for all 19 home Premier League matches. This removes the need to enter separate high-demand sales for fixtures against the division’s most popular clubs.
Other benefits and practical advantages include:
- 190 Coventry City loyalty points, which contribute towards priority access to away and cup tickets
- Priority purchasing opportunities for home cup fixtures
- Access to the club’s Ticket Exchange when activated
- A fixed seat for every included league game
- Family Zone activities for qualifying families
- The option to apply for payment finance through V12 Retail Finance
- Digital entry through Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
Season tickets do not include FA Cup, League Cup, friendly, academy or women’s fixtures unless Coventry announce a specific exception. They also cannot be privately sold, lent or transferred outside the club’s authorised systems.
The season ticket remains valid when a league fixture is moved to a different date or kick-off time. Holders are not normally entitled to compensation for travel or accommodation costs caused by a rescheduled match.
What Can Supporters Do Without a Season Ticket?
Supporters who missed the 2026/27 renewal window should consider joining the waiting list for future seasons, while using individual match-ticket routes in the meantime.
A Coventry membership may offer priority for selected home matches, although it cannot produce a season ticket place when the allocation is full. The club’s Ticket Exchange may also release seats returned by holders who cannot attend.
Hospitality is another separate route and may have different availability from general admission.
When tickets at CBS Arena are sold out, supporters can also compare listings through Ticket-Compare.com.
Ticket-Compare.com is a comparison platform rather than a ticket seller.

It compiles options from pre-vetted resale sites and official ticketing partners, allowing buyers to compare seating, availability and prices before purchasing from the respective provider.
Coventry City Season Tickets | Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy a Coventry City season ticket for 2026/27?
No. All available general admission places were allocated through renewals, and Coventry did not hold a newcomer sale. Seasonal hospitality is separate and may have different availability, but it should not be confused with an ordinary general admission season ticket.
Does joining the waiting list guarantee a season ticket?
No. The $13 payment gives the supporter access to the waiting list process rather than a guaranteed seat. Availability will depend primarily on non-renewals and any future change to the number of season tickets Coventry decide to make available.
Are Coventry City cup matches included?
No. A Coventry season ticket covers the men’s first-team home league programme. Holders may receive priority to buy tickets for FA Cup or League Cup games, but a separate payment is required unless the club announces an exceptional arrangement.
Can a Coventry season ticket be transferred to another supporter?
Coventry’s terms do not allow holders to lend, sell or privately transfer their season ticket. When the club’s Ticket Exchange is activated, holders who cannot attend may be able to return their seat through the club’s authorised system.
Can supporters pay for a Coventry season ticket in installments?
Coventry offer a finance option through V12 Retail Finance. Applications are subject to status, affordability checks and the terms shown during purchase. It should not automatically be treated as an interest-free club direct debit.
Do disabled supporters receive a free personal-assistant ticket?
Disabled supporters pay the season ticket price applicable to their age. A free personal-assistant ticket may be issued where the supporter meets Coventry’s eligibility requirements. The assistant ticket is valid only when accompanying the named disabled supporter.
Are Coventry City Season Tickets Worth It?
For a supporter planning to attend every Premier League home match, a Coventry City season ticket offers something that individual match sales cannot. Namely, guaranteed access to the same seat throughout the campaign.
The hard part is getting hold of one. Coventry’s allocation has grown from around 9,300 return packages to approximately 24,000 holders, yet Premier League promotion meant every available 2026/27 place was retained before newcomers could buy.
Supporters seeking their first season ticket should join the official 2027/28 waiting list while recognising that the $13 fee does not guarantee an offer.
Until a place becomes available, memberships, the Ticket Exchange, hospitality and ticket comparison platforms remain the main routes for one-off Premier League tickets.
For now, there are 52,804 Coventry City tickets on sale via our platform, with the cheapest selling for $56.
A CCFC match currently in high demand on our site is Arsenal vs Coventry at $169 so don’t miss out on this hotly anticipated match.
