Newcastle United
Newcastle United have been a member of the Premier League for all but three years of the competition's history. The club has won four League titles, six FA Cups, and a FA Charity Shield.
Many legendary players have donned the black and white jersey over the years, including Kevin Keegan, Peter Beardsley, and John Rutherford. Alan Shearer holds the record for most goals scored for Newcastle. He played for the team for a decade from 1996 until 2006 and is still a firm fan favourite.
St James’ Park
St James’ Park has been Newcastle’s home ground since 1892, and has been used for football since 1880. The ground has a seating capacity of 52,305, making it the eighth-largest stadium in the country.
St James’ Park has also been used to host international football and games at the 2012 Olympics, as well as a variety of concerts and charity events. Tickets to see Brighton vs Newcastle at St James’ Park aren’t easy to come by.
Brighton
Brighton and Hove Albion are a club who’ve faced many challenges over the years, but gained promotion to the top flight in the 2016-17 season and have remained there ever since.
Albion has produced many talented players, all of whom made a huge impact during their time at the club. Notable Brighton legends include Glenn Murrary, Bobby Zamora, Danny Cullip, and Kerry Mayo.
AMEX Stadium
Brighton have played their home games at the AMEX Stadium since 2011, after moving from their previous ground of Withdean Stadium. The AMEX always provides a brilliant atmosphere, and the Brighton vs Newcastle game will be no exception.
The stadium is located in the village of Falmer, in East Sussex. With a capacity of 31,800, it is the second-largest stadium in all of South East England and the 31st-largest in the UK.
