Due to its two European Cup victories at the end of the 1970s and the start of the 1980s, Nottingham Forest will forever be remembered as one of the greats of British football.
Since those heady heights, fans of Forest have been on a wild journey. Relegated from the Premier League in the mid-90s, the team spent decades in the lower leagues before securing its promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2022/2023 season.
Despite being wildly tipped to be relegated in their first full season, Forest was able to defy the odds and secured their status in the Premier League and are looking to become an established force once again.
Forest plays its home games at the City Ground, and although it's one of the smallest grounds in the Premier League, the atmosphere that the Forest faithful are able to generate is amongst one of the very best in the top flight.
With a huge fanbase, the only way to secure a seat for a home game is with a season ticket; however if the idea of a season ticket doesn't appeal, then becoming a member is the next best thing.
In this guide we will reveal everything you need to know about membership, the different options, the cost and what other benefits it can provide. Let's dive into it.
What official Nottingham Forest membership packages are there?
Like most Premier League clubs, Forest currently runs five different membership package options - MyForest Pro, MyForest Plus, MyForest Member, MyForest Youth and MyForest Child. Each membership package contains a range of benefits and differs in cost.
MyForest Pro membership: Everything you need to know
Launched for Forest's return to the Premier League, MyForest Pro is the club's most expensive option. Aimed at all ages, membership for the season costs £95 and includes the following benefits:
- Home tickets in a guaranteed window
- Place on the Nottingham Forest season ticket waiting list
- Exclusive welcome gift
- Early access to retail promotions
- Priority access to official NFFC events
- Monthly competitions
- Digital programme
- Access to ticket exchange services
- MyForest Membership Card
The £95 fee is one of the most expensive we have reviewed. However, it does allow you the chance to get tickets through the designated window that the club operates before every match. The amount of tickets on offer through these windows will fluctuate per match but by becoming a MyForest Pro member you will have a good chance of watching the team in action.
A place on the season ticket waiting list and access to the club's ticket exchange service make the £95 fee worth the investment.
MyForest Plus membership: Everything you need to know
Costing £65 for the season, the MyForest Plus membership differs from the Pro package, as rather than being treated as priority for any home ticket designation window, Plus members will need to wait for the Pro window to end before any tickets can be secured. Despite this, there are still plenty of benefits on offer:
- Second priority for the home ticket window
- Exclusive welcome gift
- Early access to retail promotions
- Priority access to official NFFC events
- Monthly competitions
- Digital programme
- Access to ticket exchange services
- MyForest Membership Card
MyForest member: Everything you need to know
The third adult membership that Forest offers is the MyForest member package. Costing £35 for the season, subscribers to this package can gain access to home tickets but will sit behind both MyForest Pro and MyForest Plus members when it comes to the order of priority. Here are the benefits available:
- Third priority for the home ticket window
- Exclusive welcome gift
- Early access to retail promotions
- Priority access to official NFFC events
- Monthly competitions
- Digital programme
- Access to ticket exchange services
- MyForest Membership Card
MyForest Youth membership: Everything you need to know
If you know a younger Forest fan who you feel isn't ready for any of the three adult membership packages that the club offers, then the Forest Youth package is aimed at young adults between 12 and 19. Costing £25 for the season, tickets can be accessed and any Youth members are included within the third ticket priority window. This is what can be unlocked:
- Third priority for the the home ticket window
- Exclusive welcome gift
- Early access to retail promotions
- Priority access to official NFFC events
- Monthly competitions
- Digital programme
- Access to ticket exchange services
- MyForest Membership Card
MyForest Child membership: Everything you need to know
If you want to start the Nottingham Forest journey from a young age, the MyForest Child membership is designed for children aged between 4-11. Costing the same as the Youth membership package at £25 for the season, those who take out a Child membership could be in with the chance of becoming a mascot for a home game. Here are the benefits:
- Third priority for the home ticket window
- Opportunity to become a mascot
- Exclusive welcome gift
- Early access to retail promotions
- Priority access to official NFFC events
- Monthly competitions
- Digital programme
- Access to ticket exchange services

Does becoming a Forest member guarantee me tickets?
If you become a Forest member, you do have the chance of getting home tickets, but it certainly isn't a guarantee. The only way to ensure you can watch every possible Forest home game is to have a season ticket.
Every home game offers the chance for members to get hold of tickets but depending on the membership package that is purchased, there are different priority windows, those who buy MyForest Plus, MyForest Membership, MyForest Youth and MyForest Child will find themselves in the second and third windows and could find their chances of attaining tickets limited.
MyForest Pro members will get the first priority tickets after season ticket seats have been allocated.
If I receive a priority ticket, will I get to choose where I sit?
Tickets will be made across all of the City Ground. There will be designated seats, but you will need to act quickly to ensure you are sitting in your preferred area of the ground.
Do I need to pay for a ticket once I get one?
Yes, if you are lucky enough to get a ticket through the priority window, you will need to pay for the ticket.
Can the cost of my NFFC membership increase?
Every club reviews their membership fees, but for the last two years the price of Forest membership has remained the same. If the club decides to hike up its costs you will be informed and given the option to cancel your membership if you don't want to pay the additional amount.
Membership fees are usually collected via direct debit, and if not cancelled before a preset date (usually June), funds will be taken from your account automatically.
Can I stagger the cost of my Forest membership like a season ticket throughout the year?
No, unlike season ticket payments, which can be split over the course of a season, if you decide to become a Forest member, you will need to pay for your membership in full as soon as you decide to purchase it. It should just take minutes for the payment process to complete.
Can I become an NFFC member at any point in the season?
Yes, you can. The window for becoming a member is open throughout the season; there is no waiting list, and the signup process should just take minutes.
Is there a waiting list for becoming a Nottingham Forest member?
No, there isn't. You should be able to sign up to become a member instantly.
Will becoming part of an official Forest membership package help me get a ticket for Cup finals or away games?
As per the policies of most Premier League clubs, if Forest were to reach a Cup Final, the tickets for the game would be reserved mainly for season ticket holders. Final tickets are awarded on a points basis, and it's highly unlikely that a member will ever have enough points to qualify for tickets to a Cup Final. However, those who purchase a Pro membership package would have an outside chance.
Away games follow the same premise, with a ticket allocation being awarded to those who hold the most points.
Can I get access to hospitality with a Forest membership?
Although there are many perks that come with an official NFFC membership package, hospitality isn't included.
