Wolves Membership Guide

The days of Wolverhampton Wanderers yo-yoing between the Premier League and the Championship are long gone, and Wolves are now an established Premier League side.

Despite being many pundits pick for relegation at the start of the 2023/2024 season, Wolves have enjoyed a solid season with manager Gary O’Neill guiding the club to memorable victories over Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Although Wolves aren’t one of the Premier League elites, they have a string of talented players that would start for almost any Premier League side. Pedro Neto, Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan have all lit up the league and look destined to lift Wolves to even greater heights.

Since Wolves gained promotion back in 2017, the Molineux has acquired a reputation for creating one of the best atmospheres in the Premier League. Tickets to watch the team are always in high demand, so if you don’t fancy splashing out on a season ticket, becoming a member is a much cheaper way of trying to get your hands on a Wolves matchday ticket.

Becoming a member is easy and in this guide we will tell you everything you need to know about becoming a member at Wolves. We will take a look at the different membership options, how much it costs and what benefits the different membership programs provide.

Does becoming a Wolverhampton Wanderers member guarantee me tickets?

As we explained at the top of the article, if you want to guarantee yourself a home ticket for a Wolves game, the only way to do this is via a season ticket.

Although membership is far cheaper, there is no guarantee that you will be able to get your hands on a ticket.

However, for every Wolves home game there will be some exclusive tickets aimed just at members. The number of tickets will range from a few thousand to a few hundred, depending on the opposition, and in order to get your hands on tickets, you will need to be quick.

If I receive a ticket, will I get to choose where I sit?

Tickets will be available for every stand within the Molineux, but the number on offer will be limited. If you have a preferred stand where you want to watch the action, you will need to act quickly to bag the tickets you want.

Do I need to pay for a ticket once I get one?

Yes, your membership fee won’t cover the cost of your ticket. You will need to pay separately for any tickets you acquire.

Can the cost of my Wolves membership increase?

Every club in the Premier League reviews the cost of membership. Over the last few years, the cost of adult memberships has risen from £30 to the current price of £38; however, for the upcoming season, prices should remain at £38 due to a price freeze the club is imposing.

Once you become a member, your membership costs for the year are automatically debited from your account and payments work on an automatic renewal basis.

Before your payment is debited, you will get an email prior to the due date. This email will inform you when the payment will be taken out of your bank account and if there have been any increases in cost.

If the club does decide to increase its membership fees and you don’t want to continue your membership, you will need to cancel it by the preset date; failure to do so will result in your bank being automatically charged. Payments are usually taken from accounts in June.

Can I stagger the cost of my WWFC membership like a season ticket throughout the year?

No, all membership fees are one off payments that need to be made at the point of purchase. There isn’t the option to stagger the payment fees throughout the season.

Can I become a Wolves member at any point in the season?

The number of members that Wolves accept is capped, and once that capacity is reached, the membership window is closed. You can become a member at any time, but the later you leave it, the bigger the likelihood that all membership places will be taken.

Is there a waiting list for becoming a Wolves member?

If you miss out on becoming a WWFC member, you won’t have the option of joining a waiting list. Instead, you will need to become a member when the membership scheme reopens. This usually occurs in June of every season.

Will becoming part of an official Wolves membership package help me get a ticket for Cup finals or away games?

As per the policies of most Premier League clubs, if Wolves were to reach a Cup Final, the tickets for the game would be reserved mainly for season ticket holders. Final tickets are awarded on a points basis, and it’s highly unlikely that a WWFC member will ever have enough points to qualify for tickets to a Cup Final.

Away games follow the same premise, with a ticket allocation being awarded to those who hold the most points.

Can I get access to hospitality with a Wolves membership?

There are some rival Premier League clubs that have hospitality benefits intertwined with their benefits, but unfortunately, Wolves isn’t one of these clubs.

If the idea of watching Wolves surrounded by luxury appeals, visit our Wolverhampton Wanderers ticket page which contains all of the information you will need about the hospitality on offer at the Molineux.
