Best LiveFootballTickets Alternatives for Football Tickets
Written by Aviran Zazon
As we explain in our LiveFootballTickets review, it’s a site that is unusually specialised.
Rather than treating football as one category within a huge entertainment marketplace, LiveFootballTickets is built around Premier League, European and international matches, with detailed ticket categories, stadium locations and information about seats together.
That makes finding a genuine alternative slightly more complicated than simply listing the world's biggest resale sites.
Fanatix is our best overall LiveFootballTickets alternative at website level, combining a huge current football catalogue with an excellent buying interface and particularly competitive prices in our latest test.
There is an important qualification that we have to make early on: Fanatix and LiveFootballTickets are both operated by LiveTix Group S.L.
Hellotickets, StubHub International, SportsEvents365 and Vivid Seats then come into play for different types of football buyer.

How We Chose the Best LiveFootballTickets Alternatives
Partly drawing from our own secondary market reviews, we compared the alternatives primarily on football ticket inventory, ticket prices, buying experience, customer support and what happens when fulfilment goes wrong.
We also looked beyond company descriptions and tested advertised starting prices for ten forthcoming fixtures on 7 September 2026.
That exercise concentrated on Fanatix and Hellotickets, two platforms with quite a deep supply of football tickets.
| Seller | Cheapest/joint-cheapest in sample | Median premium over cheapest |
|---|---|---|
| Fanatix | 6/10 | 0% |
| Hellotickets | 3/10 | 2.3% |
That does not mean Fanatix will always be cheapest. Football resale prices and available seats change continuously, while an advertised starting price may not include every charge eventually applied at checkout.
Fanatix and Hellotickets were setting the lower advertised entry price considerably more frequently in this particular test.
1. Fanatix: Best Overall LiveFootballTickets Alternative
Fanatix has developed into a much closer LiveFootballTickets alternative than its wider sports and entertainment catalogue might initially suggest.
Its football section currently contains more than 3,000 forthcoming events, with more than 360 in its Premier League category alone. Individual Arsenal and Liverpool pages each carried 43 forthcoming matches during our research.
That extends across the Premier League, Championship, Champions League, European domestic competitions and international football, giving Fanatix the depth expected from a serious football ticket site.
Price was its biggest advantage in our September test. Fanatix was outright cheapest for five of ten fixtures and joint-cheapest for another, leaving it with a median premium of 0% against the lowest advertised price available from the two sellers tested.
The website also performed exceptionally well in Ticket-Compare.com's hands-on assessment. Interactive stadium plans highlight relevant listings, ticket information is clearly displayed and checkout is uncomplicated.
Buyers can pay with PayPal and do not have to create an account before purchasing. Ticket-Compare.com awarded Fanatix 5/5 for ease of use.
Support was similarly impressive. A test enquiry received a substantive response in under ten minutes, while Fanatix currently advertises round-the-clock customer assistance.
Its 100% Money Back Guarantee covers failure to receive tickets in time. For permanently cancelled events, the ticket purchase price is returned to the original payment method, although its terms state that the service fee is returned as a voucher valid for two years.
There is one significant disclosure. Fanatix and LiveFootballTickets are both operated by LiveTix Group S.L. Fanatix therefore gives you a different website and buying interface, but it should not be described as an independent rival to LiveFootballTickets.
Best for: Buyers looking for the strongest alternative website based on current football choice, interface and pricing.
2. Hellotickets: Best for Competitive Football Ticket Prices
Hellotickets is a much broader business than LiveFootballTickets. Football sits alongside concerts, attractions, tours and other activities, which makes the overall website less football-focused.
Once you reach the football section, the difference becomes much smaller.
Its current Arsenal page carried around 38 forthcoming matches during our research, with roughly 35 on its Fulham page. Premier League and Champions League football are therefore substantial parts of the platform rather than occasional additions.
Hellotickets was also the surprise performer in our price comparison. It produced the cheapest advertised starting price for Liverpool vs Atlético, Napoli vs Arsenal and Manchester United vs Manchester City, while its median premium against the cheapest seller was only 2.3%.
The interface becomes considerably better once you reach an individual match. Responsive stadium maps, quantity controls and clearly separated ticket categories make listings easy to browse, while PayPal is supported.
During Ticket-Compare.com's test purchase, charges were approximately 19.35%, although fees can vary and that figure should not be treated as a permanent rate. The less attractive part of the test was how late the charge appeared during checkout.
Customer service was also slower than with Fanatix in Ticket-Compare.com's hands-on assessment. The broader review picture is stronger, and Hellotickets currently advertises 24-hour support on football pages.
For cancelled events, Hellotickets states that the ticket amount is refunded. Its terms contain an exception around management fees and additional costs where cancellation results from force majeure.
Best for: Buyers who want to compare a particularly price-competitive football option rather than insisting on a football-only marketplace.
3. StubHub International: Best Global Marketplace
StubHub International brings scale and a particularly mature ticket-buying platform to the comparison.
Football sits within a much bigger catalogue covering sport, concerts and entertainment, while detailed stadium plans and information about grouped seating make the buying interface one of its clearest strengths.
Its FanProtect Guarantee also covers three of the issues that count the most when buying a football ticket; tickets arriving on time, being valid for entry and matching or being comparable to what the buyer ordered.
If something goes wrong on the seller’s end, StubHub can seek replacement tickets or offer the applicable refund or credit.
The reason StubHub sits fourth rather than first is its current fit with the type of ticket range someone may expect from LiveFootballTickets.
In our 7 September 2026 check, Manchester United vs Tottenham had only around 30 StubHub UK tickets, starting at $440 and presented as premium hospitality or VIP options. At the same snapshot, starting prices on Fanatix and Hellotickets ranged from $203 to $237.
That is one fixture rather than a rule about StubHub's entire football catalogue. It illustrates why a huge general marketplace does not necessarily become the closest substitute for a specialist selling a broad selection of ordinary football seats.
Best for: Buyers who value a large, established global marketplace and may also use the same account for other events.
4. SportsEvents365: Best for Personal Service
SportsEvents365 takes a more traditional approach to selling event tickets, and that can work particularly well when a football match forms part of an overseas trip.
The distinguishing feature is service. Ticket-Compare.com's review highlights personal sales representatives, telephone and online assistance, established relationships with travel professionals and a 100% ticket guarantee.
That gives SportsEvents365 a different appeal from a high-volume marketplace where most of the process is self-service.
The trade-off is its website. Stadium diagrams and ticket categories give buyers the information required to make a selection, but the interface feels more functional than Fanatix or LiveFootballTickets.
Price is not its strongest selling point either. Ticket-Compare.com awarded 3/5 for ticket price, reflecting a proposition where the additional personal support can form part of what the customer is paying for.
Best for: International visitors who value having more direct assistance around a football booking.
5. Vivid Seats: Best for US-Based Football Buyers
Vivid Seats becomes easier to recommend when the buyer is based in North America.
Its marketplace and buying experience are built primarily around US sports and entertainment. For American customers already familiar with the platform, having European football available within the same service may be more convenient than moving to an unfamiliar specialist.
For someone in Britain or Europe specifically searching for Premier League or Champions League tickets, the fit is weaker. Ticket-Compare.com's assessment found European football less prominent, alongside US-oriented fixture terminology, dollar billing and higher fees.
Its Buyer Guarantee nevertheless supplies substantial protection. Tickets are expected to arrive before the event, be valid and authentic, and be identical, comparable or better than those ordered. Compensation applies when those requirements are not fulfilled under the guarantee's terms.
Best for: US-based buyers who already use Vivid Seats and want European football alongside American sports and entertainment.
Compare LiveFootballTickets Alternatives in One Place
The price test above also demonstrates why choosing a football ticket website purely by reputation can be difficult.
For one fixture Fanatix may have the lowest starting price; for another it could be Hellotickets. The cheapest ticket may also be in a different part of the ground, while fees and available quantities can change the comparison again.
Ticket-Compare.com is a ticket comparison platform rather than a ticket seller. It brings together listings from pre-vetted resale platforms and official ticketing partners where applicable, allowing buyers to compare availability from several sources rather than opening each website separately.
When you choose a ticket, you click through to the relevant vendor and complete the transaction there. That site remains responsible for the purchase, ticket delivery and its own guarantee.
This is especially useful here because there is no single alternative that wins every category. Fanatix performed best in our current price sample, another may offer the closest independent specialist experience and another platform may have the particular block, quantity or ticket type you need for a specific match.
LiveFootballTickets Alternatives | Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best alternative to LiveFootballTickets?
Fanatix is our strongest overall website alternative, based on its current inventory of football tickets, excellent interface and performance in our ten-fixture price comparison.
Buyers should know that Fanatix and LiveFootballTickets share the same operator, LiveTix Group S.L. For a completely independent alternative, we rank Hellotickets first.
Are the advertised starting prices the final prices?
Not necessarily. Service or booking charges can be added during checkout and can vary between orders.
Ticket-Compare.com's individual tests found significant additions on some transactions, so an advertised starting price is most useful for finding promising listings. Check the complete order total before comparing one marketplace definitively with another.
What happens if my football ticket does not arrive?
Protection differs by platform. Fanatix advertises a full refund for tickets not received in time, while StubHub's FanProtect similarly allows replacements or compensation when its fulfilment conditions are not met. Check the seller's current terms before purchasing.
Is Ticket-Compare.com an alternative to LiveFootballTickets?
Not in exactly the same sense. LiveFootballTickets sells access to tickets through its marketplace, while Ticket-Compare.com compares listings from selected vendors and sends the buyer to the chosen seller to complete the transaction.
It is therefore useful for comparing LiveFootballTickets-style marketplaces rather than replacing the seller itself.
Which LiveFootballTickets Alternative Is Best for Football Tickets?
At website level, Fanatix is our strongest LiveFootballTickets alternative. Its football inventory is now extensive, the interface compares very well with dedicated football sellers and it produced the lowest or joint-lowest advertised price in six of the ten fixtures we examined.
The shared LiveTix Group ownership means the answer changes for somebody looking specifically for an independent competitor.
Hellotickets deserves particular attention when comparing price, while StubHub International offers the advantages of a huge global marketplace. SportsEvents365 makes more sense when personal service matters and Vivid Seats is most naturally suited to US-based buyers.
Ultimately, the most useful comparison is the one for the match you actually want. Prices, available blocks and ticket quantities move constantly, so Ticket-Compare.com can help you see which of the relevant sites has the strongest option at the point when you are ready to buy.
