How Long is the Waiting List for a Brighton Season Ticket?

The simple answer is that there is no longer a waiting list for a Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket.

After the renewal period in March 2025 Brighton season tickets went on general sale to anyone who wanted one, and there were still BHAFC season tickets available in May 2025. So all you have to do to buy a season ticket for Brighton is to wait until the renewal period for existing holders ends, around mid-March.

In the previous year it was a lot trickier to buy a BHAFC season ticket: MyAlbion+ Members were offered exclusive priority to buy a season ticket if they had attended a certain number of games in the same season, prior to the end of the ST renewal period in March.

To qualify for this priority window in 2024 you needed to attend 10 home matches out of the 14 that took place before the renewal period ended in March 2024.

In 2025 the process became a lot simpler, with the club still offering season tickets on sale to the public more than a month after the renewal window closed.

Brighton Season Ticket Price for 2025/26

An adult Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket costs from $827 to $1,404 in 2025/26. This is an average rise of 5 per cent on the 2024/25 price, which in turn was a 6.1 per cent on the price of 2023/24 tickets.

Still, compared to the price of season tickets at Premier League clubs, Brighton FC remains relatively affordable, especially for the South of England. Compared to the starting price at Arsenal ($1,250) and Spurs ($1,161), it doesn’t seem so bad.

For 2025/26, the club increased prices for the third consecutive season since 2022/23, following a price freeze that coincided with the Covid epidemic.

Brighton Season Tickets and Loyalty Points

Brighton & Hove season ticket holders have a major advantage over all other Seagulls fans when it comes to the club’s Loyalty Points system.

Carrying over from season to season, Loyalty Points give you a level of access to away, cup and European tickets that simply isn’t available with an ordinary Brighton Membership

Helping you on your way, you get a handsome bonus of Loyalty Points every time you renew your BHAFC season ticket. You then earn points for every cup or away match you attend, and can work towards building them up over several years.

To give you an idea of the advantage, check out the on-sale schedule for the Liverpool vs Brighton & Hove Albion back in 2024/25:

  • Season Ticket Holders with 280+ Points: Tuesday 24 September, 9am

Important Dates for Brighton Season Ticket Holders

Compared to other Premier League clubs, Brighton FC has an extremely early renewal period for season tickets, and it may catch you by surprise.

In 2025, the renewal window for existing Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket holders opened on Monday January 20 and ended on March 10.

If you’re in the hunt for a BHAFC season ticket for the first time, you need to be ready to make your purchase about a month after that, depending on how long the sales window stays open.

Will the Brighton Season Ticket Waiting List Change?

If you’re an Albion fan wondering how to get hold of a BHAFC season ticket, there isn’t much likelihood of availability changing.

Like at least a dozen Premier League clubs, Brighton are carrying out expansion work at the Amex Stadium. However, this is limited to a snazzy new two-floor fanzone.

After a series of construction projects following the club’s relocation in 2011, the capacity is unlikely to climb far beyond the current total of 31,876.

Back in 2023, the club’s CEO Paul Barber confirmed that any increase will be in the hundreds and not in the thousands.

So this means that, barring an unthinkable relegation, Brighton season ticket availability is unlikely to improve much in the future.

In the meantime, if you’re not a MyAlbion+ Member with a lot of games under your belt, but truly love the Albion, you may need to hunt for alternatives.

Key Changes for Brighton & Hove Albion Season Ticket Holders

After working with BHAFC’s Fan Advisory Board, the club announced a number of season ticket holders starting in 2025/26.

Safe Standing in the North Stand

Safe standing has been introduced from row R upwards in Blocks N1A to N1H of the North Stand (seats 13–241). Some areas, such as seats 1–12 in N1A, and seat 243 upwards in N1H, and all of N1I, will remain seated.

This safe-standing rollout will be reviewed each season, and the club made it possible for all affected fans to apply to move seats.

Season Ticket Usage Requirement

From 2025/26, BHAFC season ticket holders have to ‘use’ their seat for at least 75% of Premier League matches. Here. ‘usage’ includes attending a match, re-listing your seat on the BHAFC Ticket Exchange, or sharing/upgrading the ticket.

Now, if you fail to do this, and leave your seat unused for five or more matches the club may not allow you to renew for the next season.

  • On the Ticket Exchange, listings have to be made by 2 pm the day before the fixture to count as ‘usage’.
  • You will be able to share your season ticket with a MyAlbion+ member once per season for free, while you can also pay $27 to be eligible for unlimited sharing.

These changes were brought in to improve attendance at the Amex and allow a wider range of fans to get to Albion matches.
