What Are My Leeds Priority Memberships?
Launched in 2022/23, a Leeds Priority Membership is a special membership tier that is available only to a select group of long-term Whites fans.
They receive a 24-hour priority window at Phase 1 for every home match. You may notice this window in Phase 1 when you try to buy Leeds United tickets on the official site.
Initially, Leeds Priority Membership was offered to fans who had renewed their membership across ten consecutive seasons from 2012/13 to 2021/22.
Now, whenever a Leeds Priority Member fails to renew, their position will be offered to other long-term Leeds United fans. However, there is no way of applying for this special membership tier.
Leeds Priority Members pay the same renewal fee as My Leeds+ members ($94) and are rewarded with advanced access to Leeds United tickets, on top of all of the benefits of My Leeds+ Membership.
How to Get Leeds United Tickets with a Membership
A Leeds United membership is the only way to get general admission tickets through the club. It’s never easy to get tickets, but the good news is that you get multiple bites of the cherry, on the web or by phone, starting on a Monday three weeks before a weekend match.

- Then all members will have a chance to make a purchase (usually from 10:30 am the next day).
Phase 5: Ticket Forwarding opens two weeks after tickets first went on sale for Season Ticket Holders & Members to pass their ticket on to a registered friend or member of family (from 9 am).

Leeds United Membership | Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Leeds United Membership worth it?
A Leeds United membership is definitely worth it if you want to get to regular LUFC home matches with general admission tickets.
A My Leeds Membership gives you access to the initial sale, a spot in the ballot if you want it, as well as the ability to use the Leeds Ticket Exchange and Ticket Transfer services.
Does buying a Leeds United Membership guarantee me tickets?
No, a Leeds United membership will not guarantee you tickets:
- A membership will give you the best possible chance of getting LUFC tickets through the club’s box office.
- If you opt for the pricier My Leeds+ package ($101) you also get a 24-hour priority access to the Ticket Exchange.
- Fans lucky enough to qualify for Leeds Priority Membership will be first in line when tickets go on sale.
How much is a LUTV Subscription?
You can buy a pass for LUTV for $5, which is a recurring monthly fee. This will give you:
Live coverage: Audio commentary of every Leeds United match, with pre-match build-up, in-game analysis, and post-match reaction.
On-demand viewing: Full replays (90 minutes, on delay), extended highlights of every fixture plus selected live Leeds U21 matches.
How much does it cost to become a Leeds United member?
For adults, it costs $101 for My Leeds+ Membership, which is the pricier tier, and $67 for basic My Leeds Membership. This is the price for new customers not using the auto-renewal scheme.
What is Leeds United Ticket Forwarding?
Ticket Forwarding allows LUFC season ticket holders and My Leeds Members to pass their seat on to another My Leeds Member if they can’t get to a match. The fan who receives the ticket must be linked via your Friends & Family list.
- You can forward a LUFC ticket of the same price type (e.g. Adult to Adult) at no extra cost.
- It is possible to upgrade the ticket (such as Junior to Adult) but these may require a fee.
- Downgrades (like Adult to Junior) are allowed, but unfortunately no refund is given.
- Once forwarded, the original ticket is cancelled and a new mobile ticket will be emailed directly to the recipient.
- LUFC tickets can be forwarded right up until the turnstiles open on matchday, so 90 minutes before kick-off.
Can I stagger the cost of my Leeds United membership throughout the year?
No. Some clubs do offer financing options, even on small transactions like this, but you will have to pay for a My Leeds Membership with a lump sum.
When does a Leeds United membership expire?
A My Leeds membership will end on 30 June. At that point, an auto-renewal will kick in, if you have opted into this service.
If you have not opted into auto-renewal you will need to buy a new Leeds membership when they go on sale later in July.
Buying Leeds United Tickets on the Secondary Market
Now, with all the will in the world, a Leeds United membership may not be enough to get you tickets for Elland Road.
So if you can’t get tickets through the club, hospitality packages or the secondary market are the best alternatives.
As we’ve shown, matches will sell out within a couple of weeks, and the level of demand is so high that there are a lot of disappointed Whites fans, especially for one of the big fixtures.
We should point out that for a club like LUFC, which maintains healthy rivals with plenty of big teams, from Manchester United to Chelsea, there are a lot of these massive clashes on the calendar.
For these matches, it makes perfect sense to hit the secondary market if you absolutely do not want to miss out.
Buying Leeds United Tickets from Ticket-Compare.com
The safest way to buy Leeds United tickets if you don’t have an LUFC membership is to use Ticket-Compare.com. We are an aggregator, comparing tickets across a large spectrum of resale sites as well as many clubs’ official ticketing partners.
What do all of these sites have in common? They have all been meticulously evaluated by us, and all offer state-of-the-art payment protection, 100% guarantees on purchases and have dedicated customer support.
This will make every transaction go smoothly, from the moment you check our lineup of Leeds tickets to stepping through the Elland Road turnstiles on matchday.
