How to Buy Leicester City FC Tickets with Membership in 2024/25

The first thing to remember about LCFC tickets match by match is that there’s immense demand.

During the club’s 2023/24 season in the EFL Championship, the Foxes never sold fewer than 28,000 tickets for a league home game.

This is a fanbase that survived Gary Megson, and it will take a lot more than relegation to empty the King Power Stadium.

So as a team with a vibrant and committed fanbase, Leicester City prioritises ticket availability according to how many matches members have attended. This is where LCFC Priority Points come into play.

All About Leicester City FC Priority Points

To get to the front of the queue during the Leicester City sales window for King Power Stadium matches, you will need to start earning Home Priority Points.

How to Earn Leicester City Priority Points for Tickets

You receive:

  • 10 LCFC Home Priority Points for renewing your Leiceter City Membership each year
  • 1 LCFC Home Priority Point for every match you attend at King Power Stadium

Priority Points roll over from year to year. If you can build them up, you will be in a privileged position when Leicester City tickets go on sale about nine weeks before a fixture.

So, at the start of the home ticket sales window there are two 48-hour windows for LCFC regulars.

  • The first is for Members with 50+ points
  • The second is for Members with 20+ points

Ninety-six hours later, the sales window opens for all Leicester City Members, regardless of how many matches they have attended.

Home Priority Points for Leicester City Season Tickets

If you accrue enough home priority points you may even be eligible to buy a Leicester City Season Ticket when they go on sale in the spring.

The threshold for this points total varies from year to year, and here are the recent totals you needed to qualify:

  • 2023/24: 34
  • 2022/23: 36
  • 2021/22: 38

Leicester City FC Ticket Resale Explained

For up to five matches each season, Leicester City Season Ticket holders can return their ticket to the club for a refund. You will receive 1/19th of the cost of your season ticket.

Access to the Leicester City Resale Platform depends on the period in the sales window. General Sale begins about 3 weeks before a fixture.

Before this time only Leicester City Members can buy tickets from the platform, and it opens to all purchasers after the General Sale opening date.

How Does Leicester City Ticket Forwarding Work?

Up to four times a season, an LCFC Season Ticket holder can pass their ticket onto a friend or member of family.

The recipient must be listed on your Leicester City online account and they will receive a mobile ticket (NFC) for the match.

Leicester City Season Ticket Holder Guest Sale

Leicester ST holders have an opportunity to buy an additional ticket for a guest. This window takes place three days after Leicester City tickets go on sale to all members.

Buying Leicester City Away Tickets

LCFC Season Ticket holders are in pole position when it comes to buying tickets for Leicester City away games.

The main reason is because every Leicester Season Ticket holder receives 50 Away Priority Points when they buy or renew their season ticket. Automatically, this removes almost all basic Fox Members from the race.

After that you receive 1 Away Priority Point for every Leicester City away match you attend.

Leicester City Seasonal Hospitality Packages

Foxes superfans who want to watch the Foxes in comfort can invest in LCFC Seasonal Hospitality tickets.

Available for personal and corporate customers, buying VIP seats at the King Power Stadium for the season is a completely different process to getting general admission tickets.

You have to first register your interest with Leicester City’s hospitality department and they will help you find the right package.

For now, we’ll browse the scope of lounges available at LCFC:

Banks Lounge - From £2,910 + VAT

Perched high on the third floor of the West Stand, the Banks Lounge is a lively and inviting environment. Looking over the banks of the Soar, this space offers a two-course seasonal buffet and cashless bar.

Fosse Club - £3,180 + VAT

The King Power Stadium’s largest hospitality lounge offers a bustling and authentic fan experience. Fosse Club hospitality comes with three-course chef’s table dining, half-time refreshments and central seats on the half-way line in the West Stand

Champions Club - From £4,140 + VAT

This lounge honours the Foxes title-winning heritage with every detail, from the décor to the service. A four-course meal, prosecco on arrival, post-match visit from the star players caps off a prestigious matchday experience.

Premier Lounge - From £4,320 + VAT

Offering a brasserie-style dining in a sophisticated setting, the Premier Lounge provides coveted seating in the Directors’ Box. Guests will share the space with movers and shakers.

The Gallery - From £4,795 + VAT

The stadium’s only pitch-facing restaurant offers a unique dining experience with stunning views and an inviting atmosphere. Known for its personalised service, The Gallery delivers a top-of-the-line luxury.

Which Leicester City Legends Can You Meet in Hospitality?

While we can’t make any guarantees about who you’ll see, hospitality at Leicester City is made a little more special thanks to the presence of several genuine Foxes heroes.

The lineup can change week-to-week, but these are the former LCFC players involved in the 2024/25:

Steve Walsh

The 2024/25 host at The Gallery is the beloved centre-half who played 14 seasons at Leicester City, from 1986 to 2000. Walsh captained the club through the play-offs in 1994 and 1996, and lifted the EFL Cup in 1997. Walsh is seventh on the list of all-time appearances for LCFC.

Matt Elliott

The uncompromising Scotland central defender spent his best years with the Foxes. Signed by Martin O’Neill in 1997, Elliott helped establish LCFC as a Premier League force, winning the EFL Cup in 1999/00 and achieving a commendable eight-place finish the same season.

Ali Mauchlen

The Scottish midfielder and full-back played 273 times for Leicester City between 1985 and 1982. This was a period of upheaval, with five different managers in charge, but Mauchlen became a fan favourite as captain from the 1988/89 season onwards.

Gerry Taggart

Forming a defensive partnership with Elliott, Taggart was a mainstay of the LCFC backline in the late 90s and early 00s. Making 142 appearances in total, he was part of that EFL Cup-winning team in 2000, and helped Leicester to promotion at the first time of asking in 2002/03.

Muzzy Izzet

Another player who defined Leicester City’s exciting spell under Martin O’Neill. Adding guile to a robust team, he was ever-present for all of the successes of that period. Izzet became the 11th LCFC footballer to play at a World Cup, finishing third with Turkey in 2002.

How to Buy Leicester City FC Tickets without Membership

Using official channels you may struggle to buy LCFC tickets if you don’t have a membership. As we mentioned above, the General Sale window opens about three weeks before a fixture.

For less popular matches against less fashionable clubs, there may be some availability from Premier League tickets. This is also likely in the early rounds of the EFL Cup and FA Cup, when Leicester City normally face lower-league opponents.

For most Premier League matches, you cannot expect any Leicester City match to go on general sale. Tickets will sell out faster than you can sing, “Jamie Vardy’s magic”.

Where to Find Resale Tickets for Leicester City Matches in 2024/25

A Leicester City Membership won’t be ideal for everyone, especially if you only plan to watch a couple of matches a season, or if you want tickets for a sold-out LFC match. In these cases the secondary ticketing market is a vital alternative.

So don’t miss out on your chance to see Leicester City in action. If tickets are sold out, Ticket Compare will help you find available seats from trusted sellers.

Browse by price and seating location for a smooth purchase process. Secure your tickets now, and experience the excitement at King Power Stadium firsthand!
