If it sells, you get a pro-rata refund to a UK bank account after the match—for most STs it’s 1/19 of the total price, while for 93:20 Season Tickets it’s 1/22 because this includes cup games.
This sum will be paid into a UK bank account about 15 days later (up to a maximum of 45 days).
As an aside, home Women’s Super League matches are also eligible, and an MCFC Women’s Season Ticket Member receives 1/11 of their season ticket price on Ticket Exchange.
Relisting their seat with Ticket Exchange, MCFC Season Ticket Members will still keep all of their Season Ticket Points, which are vital for qualifying for those highly coveted away tickets.
Manchester City Ticket Exchange Timeline at a Glance

Anybody with a Man City Membership (Matchday) will be able to buy tickets that have been re-listed using Manchester City Ticket Exchange.

The club has streamlined the process for MCFC Season Ticket Members to sell their seat on Ticket Exchange. This is all you have to do:
- Log in to your Manchester City account.

Manchester City stands out from many other Premier League clubs in this respect.
Several teams, like Leeds United, only offer ticketing credit for Ticket Exchange sales, while you have to wait for a cashback window to be reimbursed on the Arsenal Ticket Exchange.
What Is the Difference Between Ticket Exchange and Ticket Transfer?
For Manchester City Season Ticket Members there are two routes if you can’t get to a match and still want to ensure ticket usage.
Ticket Transfer is a more personal method, allowing a Season Ticket Member to pass their seat for a specific match on to another fan. Unlike with Ticket Exchange there is no refund involved.
You can only transfer to someone with a Matchday Membership or Cityzens Membership, or to one of up to three pre-chosen non-members in your Friends & Family network (you can’t use Ticket Transfer with another ST holder).
So the key difference is that Ticket Exchange lists your seat for sale to anyone and pays you a pro-rata refund if it sells, while Transfer simply reassigns the seat within your network.

What Is Man City’s Return Policy?
