It’s an exciting time to support Brighton and Hove Albion. Renowned for playing some of the most exciting football in the Premier League, the club’s growth in recent years has seen them compete with some of England’s elite clubs.
Brighton plays its home games at the American Express Stadium, commonly referred to as Falmer Stadium or the Amex. It seats just over 30,000 fans who have had the pleasure of watching some of the best teams across Europe play there.
With key players such as Evan Ferguson, Kaoru Mitoma, João Pedro and Julio Enciso, never before has there been such a clamour to watch the football club play.
Only a season ticket can guarantee entry to every single home game in the Premier League for the 24/25 season, but this article will break down all the details about other Brighton membership information. We’ll break down what each membership option offers, what’s available to fans and the different costs involved.
You’ll know all about the different options, how to become an official member and the next steps you need to take.

The 1901 Club: Everything you need to know
The most premium of Brighton’s membership options, the 1901 club, is currently sold out until 2026. If you wish to join this membership option, you must join a waiting list and it’s worth getting onto as soon as possible to get a higher place on the list.
This premium option includes a range of benefits.
- Access to ten premium lounges for socialising
- Exclusive access to 1901 Club events
- Upgraded hospitality and dining options
- A range of discounts are available across Sussex
- Club legends will be available in the lounges on matchdays
- A dedicated 1901 Club team who are always available to deal with membership and ticketing enquiries
There is also a range of different options for 1901 Club membership. These include Gold, Platinum, Platinum+ and Dugout, the latter of which is the superior alternative. All options come with a twelve-month payment plan option.
The only difference between Gold, Platinum and Platinum+ memberships is that the more premium the membership bought, the better placed the seats are to view all the action. For the first year, a Gold membership currently costs £1339.20 after VAT, a Premium membership is £1771.20, and a Premium+ membership £2246.
The Dugout membership provides fans with the opportunity to watch games and enjoy the highest level of luxury. This package provides access to a sports bar, a one-course buffet and refreshments at half-time and after the game. The Dugout membership currently costs £2952 after VAT in the first year.
It is worth noting that when renewing memberships to the 1901 Club, the subscription will increase each year until year five.
Does becoming a Brighton member guarantee me tickets?
Although becoming a Brighton member will mean access to exclusive opportunities and benefits not available to an ordinary fan, it does not necessarily guarantee you will be able to purchase tickets, as only season ticket holders are guaranteed access to every home game.
Tickets for home games are sold to MyAlbion+ members first, though the more popular games may require a certain number of loyalty points. Subject to availability, season ticket holders and 1901 Club members may purchase guest tickets.
After this, any available tickets will be sold first to supporters with an existing purchase history and then general sale if any remain. Tickets can only be used by the named owner of said ticket.
If I purchase a ticket, will I get to choose where I sit?
Depending on availability, you will have the option to select where you sit in the ground, pictured below. The only place you will not be able to sit will be the South Stand in blocks S1A to S1F, as this is where away fans are seated.
Do I need to pay full price for a ticket despite my membership?
Yes, MyAlbion+ and 1901 Club members must pay full price for tickets that they purchase. Purchasing these memberships offers an exclusive window to purchase tickets before they go on general sale, but does not mean that there will be a discount on the tickets themselves.
Can the cost of my Brighton membership increase?
Brighton & Hove Albion retain the right to review the cost of membership packages annually. This means there is a possibility that membership prices might rise each year.
It’s important to note that MyAlbion+ membership does not automatically renew and so must be completed each year in advance of the new season.
Can I stagger the cost of my Brighton membership like a season ticket throughout the year?
MyAlbion+ memberships, unlike season tickets, cannot be paid throughout the year. If you decide to become a member at the club, you must pay for membership in full when you decide to purchase it.
However, 1901 Club memberships can be paid in twelve monthly instalments throughout the year once you have a place after progressing through the waiting list.
Can I become a Brighton member at any point in the season?
While there are an unlimited number of MyAlbion+ memberships on sale, there are only a limited number of MyAlbion+ welcome packs. To avoid missing out on these, you are advised to join as soon as you can.
A reduced membership price of £25 for adults and £15 for juniors is offered once these welcome packs have sold out.
Please check the Brighton & Hove Albion club website for any more details regarding the availability of memberships.
Is there a waiting list for Brighton memberships?
There is no waiting list for MyAlbion+ Adult, Junior or Digital Memberships, as these can be purchased instantly throughout the year.
However, you will need to join the waiting list if you wish to become a member of the exclusive 1901 Club. The club recommends joining this waiting list as soon as possible because it continues to grow throughout the year and is already sold out until 2026 at the earliest.
Will becoming part of an official Brighton membership package help me get a ticket for cup finals or away games?
In line with most Premier League clubs, if Brighton were to reach a cup final, tickets would be sold in priority order. Season ticket holders would be offered the chance to purchase tickets first, followed by supporters on a loyalty-based scheme. The more tickets you have purchased in the past, the more likely you are to have priority in purchasing tickets for a cup final.
It is important to note that the location of any final would be important for the availability of tickets. If the club were to play at Wembley, for example, it is highly likely that MyAlbion+ members would have a window to be able to purchase tickets.
Away games follow a similar premise, with 1901 Club members and season ticket holders with a certain amount of loyalty points offered the first opportunity to purchase. If any remain after this, tickets will be sold to MyAlbion+ members and then on general sale.
Can I get access to hospitality with a Brighton membership?
Although there are many perks that come with an official Brighton membership package, hospitality packages are not included.
If you are interested in purchasing hospitality for Brighton & Hove Albion games in the future, the club website has a specific hospitality page with information about various options.
Please note that hospitality packages are split depending on match categories, with the higher profile matches against the biggest teams in the league costing the most money.
