Wolverhampton Wanderers made their return to the Premier League after winning the Championship title in 2017-18. They went on to reach the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals in 2020, after a 39-year absence from UEFA competitions. Many legendary players have graced the hallowed turf of Molineux Stadium over the years including Billy Wright, Ron Flowers, Derek Parkin, and Steve Bull.

Molineux Stadium

Wolves have played at the historic Molineux Stadium since 1889. It was the first stadium built for use by a Football League club, and hosted some of the earliest European club games in the 1950s. The atmosphere at the Molineux is always brilliant, and the Brighton vs Wolves game will be no exception. The stadium had a multi-million pound renovation in the early 1990s, making it one of the biggest stadiums in England at the time. It has hosted England internationals, as well as the first UEFA Cup Final in 1972.

Many iconic players have donned the Brighton jersey over the years, and are seen as heroes to the Brighton fans. Brighton’s top scorer is Tommy Cook, with 123 goals in 209 appearances from 1922-1929. Other notable legends include Glenn Murray, Kit Napier, Danny Cullip, Bobby Zamora, and Kerry Mayo.

AMEX Stadium

Brighton play their home games at the AMEX Stadium (also called the Falmer Stadium), located in East Sussex. The stadium has hosted other sports and events, including the Rugby World Cup and the UEFA Women's Euro 2022. Before moving to the AMEX, Brighton played at Withdean Stadium from 1999 until 2011. The AMEX has a capacity of 31,800, and is the 31st-largest stadium in the UK and the second-largest in all of South East England.
