Southampton joined the Southern League as Southampton St. Mary's in 1894, before dropping the St. Mary's from their name three years later. The club are based in Hampshire, and have played in the Premier League since the 2011-12 season. Goodison Park

Everton have played at Goodison Park since 1892. Goodison Park is one of the most historic stadiums in English football, and has seen some of the club's greatest moments. The stadium has staged more top-flight football games than any other ground in the UK, and hosted a semi-final at the 1966 FIFA World Cup. Goodison Park has a capacity of 39,414 and is the thirteenth-largest football stadium in England. The ground always promises a great atmosphere, and the Everton vs Southampton game will be no exception when it takes place here.
