Wolves were originally formed as St. Luke's FC in 1877 before changing their name to Wolverhampton Wanderers two years later. The club has had some success over the years, winning the FA Cup in 1893, and the League Cup in 1974 and 1980. More recently, the club reached the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals in 2020 after a 39-year absence from UEFA competitions. Legendary Wolves players include Stan Cullis, Billy Wright, Ron Flowers, Derek Parkin, and Steve Bull.

Molineux Stadium

Molineux Stadium is based in the West Midlands, and has been the home ground of Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889. The historic stadium was the first one to be built for use by a Football League club, and hosted some of the earliest European club games in the 1950s. Molineux has an all-seated capacity of 32,050, but there are provisional plans for redevelopment to increase this. Goodison Park has hosted more top-flight games than any other stadium in England, and has also been the venue for an FA Cup Final as well as numerous international fixtures.
