Chelsea is one of the teams at the top of the Premier League, so it's no wonder that you want to buy Chelsea tickets to support your favourite team. But even for sold out matches, Ticket Compare will help you track down the authentic Chelsea tickets from the world's most reliable marketplaces.
If you're wondering where to buy Chelsea resale tickets, you've come to the right place. Ticket Compare has hand-picked a choice of secondary marketplaces and official hospitality resellers, ensuring you can buy tickets for any Chelsea match. Even for games that have sold out. With Ticket Compare, you get:
We don't need to tell you how tough it is to get Chelsea Tickets through official channels. For one thing, you need to build up Loyalty Points to attend the most in-demand matches. So established Chelsea Members and Season Ticket holders get priority, and there is not much hope for occasional match-goers.
By using the secondary market to buy CFC tickets, you remove all of those barriers. Maybe you want to plan a weekend in London around a day at Stamford Bridge and simply have to get to the game. It could be that you don't meet the strict criteria when one of the big clubs visits the stadium.
Or perhaps you've got something special in mind and want to treat yourself to a luxury hospitality experience. For everyone except for the privileged few, the resale market is the way to go if you want to buy Chelsea FC tickets.
The Chelsea ticket office only releases tickets about a week before a match. Whether you’re receiving a mobile ticket or PDF, you’ll likely get your tickets for Chelsea between 1 and 2 days before kick-off.
The vendor will provide frequent updates, offering any reassurances you might need. You will also have the chance to ask questions about the entire process, from receiving tickets to entering the stadium.
In 2023-24, Chelsea FC made it possible to enter the stadium using mobile tickets for the first time, in addition to scanning a season ticket card or printed PDF.
Just scan the QR code, and when the light goes green (amber for CFC concessions tickets), you can head through the turnstile.

How much are Chelsea tickets? On the primary market, they cost a little more than they used to, as there was a 5% rise for the 2024-25 season.
Today, a general admission adult Chelsea ticket will cost between £58 in the shortside lower tiers and £80 in the East and West Stands. We should point out that a very limited number of cheap Chelsea tickets are available in the East Lower Family Centre, starting at £46.
The cheapest Chelsea FC ticket prices are for Category B games, while the most expensive are Category AA games, which are matches with the highest demand. We'll explain these match categories a little later.
On secondary marketplaces the Chelsea ticket price will often exceed the original, ‘face value', cost of the ticket. On these platforms, demand is the thing that drives the price up, so you can expect a higher price for CFC Tickets if the opponent is a big team or if the match is a big occasion. Getting Chelsea tickets cheap can be a challenge, but if they're out there, Ticket Compare will help you find them.
A Chelsea Membership will help give you access to tickets for certain matches, but it will never guarantee that you can buy Chelsea tickets. Far from it.
The demand for primary market Chelsea FC tickets is so fierce that the club takes various measures to try to distribute them fairly, favouring long-term fans over newcomers.
If you're buying Chelsea match tickets on the primary market, the price will fluctuate according to the opponent. Let's have a look at the opponents that fall under which category:
When you buy CFC tickets through official channels, Loyalty Points are vital. By collecting Loyalty Points, you'll stand a better chance of qualifying for certain matches and may even gain enough for a Chelsea Season Ticket. Remember that Loyalty Points are wiped at the end of every season.

Chelsea Matches Sold Using Loyalty Points
If you’re going through official channels, Chelsea’s away matches go on sale 28 days before a given fixture. The allocation is divided 60/40 between Chelsea Season Ticket holders and CFC Members. As we mentioned, priority is often given to fans who have built up the most CFC Loyalty Points.
New Chelsea Members need not apply unless the tickets are for an unglamorous away game a long way from the capital. As with all PL away games, Chelsea away tickets are capped at £30 from primary outlets.
As with other Premier League clubs, 65 or over is considered senior for Chelsea FC Tickets. These concession tickets offer a large discount at less than half the price of an adult general admission Chelsea ticket.
If you’re ready to spend big on an unforgettable day out, there’s an extensive choice of Chelsea matchday hospitality packages. Each one offers luxury padded seats, complimentary match programmes, extended hours, and superb views. Depending on which package you choose, there’s a range of other perks, from buffets to four-course fine dining. We’ll list them here, in descending order of price:
Above are the official prices for if you go directly through CFC’s hospitality platform, Club Chelsea. Note that these tickets can be significantly more expensive for matches against high-level opponents.
As the price of resale tickets is more affected by supply and demand, it's not unusual to find these tickets cheaper on the secondary market and official resale sites listed on Ticket Compare.
Dating back to 1877 and home to Chelsea Football Club since 1904, Stamford Bridge is the only stadium the Chelsea first team has ever had. The stadium is part of a complete mixed-use development, sometimes called Chelsea Village, with hotels, restaurants, London's largest football museum (closed on PL matchdays), the Chelsea Megastore, and residential buildings.
Chelsea FC has the most centrally-located stadium in the capital. This makes for excellent public transport connections, but you should always avoid driving to Stamford Bridge on matchdays.
For many fans, the main route to the ground will be via Fulham Broadway Underground station (District Line), which is less than five minutes on foot. Naturally, you can expect things to take longer on matchdays.
There are two London Overground stations within a 15-minute walk of Stamford Bridge, at Imperial Wharf and West Brompton, both on the same line, linking with Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction.
Three TFL bus lines, the 414, 211, and 14, serve the area, and there is space for bicycle storage at the Stamford Gate on the south-east side of the ground.
Matthew Harding Lower, with all of the most committed and loudest Chelsea fans. That's if you want a lot of singing and fans who will not sit down for the entire game. According to the Chelsea seating plan, the place to be for views is the West Stand, as close as you can get to the halfway line.
Find out more about the Stamford Bridge stadium experience in our guide to the Chelsea seating plan.
Contactable only by phone during normal office hours in the week, the Stamford Bridge ticket office has a physical window open on matchdays. You’ll find it to the rear of the Shed End, between Frankie’s Bar & Grill and the Chelsea Megastore. Here are the various matchday hours for Chelsea ticket information at the ground:
The away allocation at Stamford Bridge is around 3,000 seats, which is the standard for Premier League Stadiums with a capacity of more than 30,000. For Premier League matches, the away section is found in Shed Lower and Shed Upper, in the south-east corner of the stand.
Age UK ranks Stamford Bridge as one of the top three best stadiums in the Premier League for disabled supporters. Here are a few facts:
Available with an annual fee, Chelsea Membership is a fine way to support the Blues and get tickets. It offers a lineup of benefits.
There's a variety of membership tiers, each offering something different. For adults the main ones are Chelsea Premium Membership (£90) and a Ticket Only Membership for £40, without the frills.
Chelsea also offers membership packages for Teen Members and Junior Blues (£32). These are UK-specific prices, and customers in Europe and the rest of the world will pay a little extra.
If CFC tickets are all that matter to you, all three tiers give you the same access. However, each one comes with different additional gifts and benefits, from club store discounts to special offers on stadium tours and access to media content.
If you're buying Chelsea tickets through official channels, a CFC Membership gives you access to the crucial priority window long before tickets go on general sale.
The other great advantage of Chelsea Membership is the opportunity to earn Loyalty Points. Earn enough, and you may qualify for a Chelsea Season Ticket or be able to purchase tickets for the most coveted Chelsea matches, as we showed above
In 2024-25, the club introduced a few brand new benefits, including:
If Chelsea FC membership isn't for you, you can also buy Premier League tickets without a membership.
One, at the start of the sales window for CFC Members. After that, the Chelsea ticketing policy loosens up, as we'll show here:
Week 1 – One ticket per Chelsea FC member
Week 2 – Two extra tickets per Chelsea Season Ticket holders and Chelsea Members (maximum of three per person)
Week 3 – General sale (four tickets per person)
Almost no matches ever make it to Week 3, so don’t count on any Chelsea FC tickets going on general sale.
This platform allows Chelsea Members to relist their tickets for other members and for Chelsea Season Ticket holders. The service, available through the Chelsea ST holder and Members' portal, is live for every fixture before the day before tickets go on sale. The Chelsea FC Ticket Exchange then stays up until 3 PM on the final working day before the match for last-minute Chelsea football tickets.
The drawback is that you don’t earn CFC Loyalty Points for purchases made on the Ticket Exchange.
There are 28,000 fans with a Chelsea FC Season Ticket. Although that’s quite a high proportion of the Stamford Bridge capacity (40,341), it’s low when compared to other clubs.
Season tickets account for 50,000 seats at Old Trafford, while across London, West Ham has 55,000 Season Ticket holders. As we'll show, getting a Chelsea Season Ticket is not for the faint-hearted.
There is no Chelsea season ticket waiting list. Unlike almost every other Premier League club, CFC Season Tickets are sold according to how many loyalty points fans have accrued. The amount of loyalty points needed to qualify for a Chelsea FC Season Ticket varies from season to season. Let's have a look at the requirements over the last few years:
2024 - 148 Points
2023 - 136 Points
2022 - 147 Points
So rest assured, it's not easy to buy a Chelsea Season Ticket. If you wanted to get one in spring 2024, you would need to have attended almost an entire season of matches. You also have to attend all those games in a single season because Chelsea Loyalty Points do not roll over from one campaign to the next.
While the price of a Chelsea FC Season Ticket was frozen for years under Roman Abramovich, the premium non-hospitality package rose sharply recently. That is because Chelsea Westview Season Tickets have been given a newly revamped, exclusive concourse.
Costing between £1,745 and £3,980, here are some of the advantages of a Chelsea Westview Season Ticket:
If you want to know more, we go into depth on this topic in our guide to Chelsea season tickets.
Who is Chelsea’s all-time top goalscorer?
Frank Lampard, with 211 goals in all competitions, and 147 in the league. Next on the list are Bobby Tambling (202), Kerry Dixon (193) and Didier Drogba (164).
Why does Chelsea have a lion on their badge?
The lion comes from the coat of arms of the Metropolitan Borough of Chelsea. The rampant posture of the lion is borrowed from the coat of arms of the former club president Viscount Chelsea (1937-2023), while the staff comes from the arms of the old Abbots of Westminster, former Lords of the Manor of Chelsea.
Why are Chelsea F.C. called Chelsea?
Because the name, Fulham F.C. was already taken. Stamford Bridge is in Fulham and not Chelsea. But when founder Gus Mears bought the stadium in 1904, he picked the name of the adjacent borough for his team. Fulham F.C. had been established more than 25 years before, in 1879.
Why is Chelsea’s Ground Called Stamford Bridge?
The name of Chelsea’s stadium comes from a bridge on the stream that flowed through the area. This stream is now called Counter’s Creek, but before the 1700s was known as ‘Stamford Brook’. The Fulham Road crosses the old route of the now redirected stream on the south-east side of the stadium at the railway tracks. The existing bridge dates to the early 1860s.
Chelsea will be travelling to the following stadiums in the Premier League this season:
