Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Seating Plan
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the newest stadium in the Premier League. Home to North London side Tottenham Hotspur, the stadium opened back in 2019 and has quickly gained a reputation for being one of the best stadiums in the world.
With a capacity of over 62,000, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosts the second biggest capacity in the Premier League with only Old Trafford eclipsing it.
The new stadium stands on the site of the old White Hart Lane, which was Tottenham’s home for well over 100 years. Although not the biggest, White Hart Lane was famed for how close the stands were to the pitch and that same effect has been replicated in the new stadium.
Whereas new stadiums can often be criticised for a lack of atmosphere, the close proximity of the stands and the very latest in acoustic design has been incorporated into the stadium, making it one of the most atmospheric grounds in the Premier League.
Although a brilliant football stadium, the stadium has been used for more than just football. The stadium is the first all purpose American Football Stadium outside of America. Hosting a completely separate NFL-sized pitch in the bowels of the stadium, the stadium hosts two NFL games every year.
It is also home to a Formula 1-inspired go-kart track and has hosted boxing matches and gigs by some of the most celebrated artists in the world.
Despite its flexibility, In this guide, we will focus on just the football and provide you with information about the best places to sit, reveal everything you need to know about stands that surround the pitch and provide a range of answers to some of the most asked questions that we receive about visiting the stadium.
Finding the right seat
When looking to buy tickets to a game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium you want to ensure that you find a seat in the right stand. Read on as we reveal more information about each of the stands within the ground.
The South Stand
The South Stand - overall capacity of stand: 17,500
Tiers: 1
The South Stand is just one solid tier, but there are entrances for the lower and upper blocks.
Lower- level blocks 251 - 257
Upper- level blocks are between 248 - 260
The South Stand is the most iconic stand in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. What makes the South Stand so special is that it is the largest single-tiered stand in Europe.
Located behind the goal, the stand holds 17,500 fans and has taken inspiration from both the ‘Yellow Wall’ in Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion and Anfield’s famous Kop End.
Designed to create a ‘wall of noise’ the stand dominates the stadium and is often where Tottenham’s most passionate fans choose to sit. If safe standing spaces are brought back to the game, the bulk of these safe standing spaces will be located in the South Stand.
Due to the noise it generates, it is often the end that Tottenham choose to kick towards in the second half of games. Another cool feature of the stand is the iconic cockerel that is located on the roof.
The South Stand is also home to the Goal Line bar. The longest bar in Europe, it is usually a popular meeting spot for fans ahead of kick-off.

Lower-tier blocks are between 110 - 113
Middle-tier blocks are between 416 - 424
Upper-tier blocks are between 510 - 520
Standing opposite the boisterous South Stand is the three tiered North Stand. Affectionately known by local Tottenham fans as the ‘Paxton End’, the Paxton was the name of the old North Stand at White Hart Lane.
The three tiers can house 17,500 fans and this is also where the away fans are located. They have four dedicated blocks in the lower tier, 114 - 118.
One of the neatest features of the North Stand is that the concourse area houses the location of the centre spot from the old White Hart Lane. On the upper level of the stand, you can visit a walkway that documents Tottenham’s journey from White Hart Lane to their new stadium.

The West Stand is also recognised as the Main Stand. It is the stand where the dugout and tunnel are located and can hold over 13,000 fans across four tiers.
The two middle tiers that make up the West Stand are dedicated to hospitality and only those indulging in an official hospitality package will be able to sit there. One of two premium Sky Lounges are located at the top of the stand.
Entrance to the West Stand can be made via Tottenham’s High Street and is usually the first stand that the bulk of fans will encounter.
Due to the fact that many use the West Stand as a meeting point, the concourse houses many different bars and concessions. Keen to showcase its local roots, local art and local musicians are often on display.

Like most parts of the stadium, there are many different bars and concession stands, with the two main bars in the stand being the White Hart and Shelf Bars.
One of the best features of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is that it has been designed with the future in mind. If safe standing is to be introduced in the future, the stand can be adapted to include safe standing areas.

Where is the best place to sit at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
Now you know where you can sit at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, let’s answer some specific questions that you may have.
Where should I sit to receive the best atmosphere?
Without doubt the best place to sit for those wanting to partake in a truly special atmosphere is in the South Stand.
The largest single tier stand in Europe, 17,500 fans contribute towards making a truly special atmosphere. Designed to create a wall of noise, it is often where the most ardent and passionate Tottenham fans are located.
Due to Tottenham being just one of many different clubs in London, there are plenty of London Derbies that will take place throughout the season. Home matches against West Ham, Chelsea, Fulham, Brentford and Crystal Palace can all create special atmospheres. However, the most special atmosphere is usually created when Tottenham host bitter rivals Arsenal. These matches are special and should be on a bucket list for any Tottenham fan to attend.
Where is the best view?
Due to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium being one of the most modern stadiums in the world, wherever you sit you can be assured of a brilliant view. The North and South Stands are located behind the goal, whereas the East and West Stands run alongside the pitch.
As with any stadium, those positioned in the first few rows behind the goal may struggle to see all of the action when the ball is at the other end of the pitch, but even then, your view should be reasonable.
Where are the cheapest seats?
Tottenham has one of the most expensive season tickets in the Premier League, but that doesn’t always imply that tickets to attend a match need to cost a fortune.
Like most clubs, Tottenham categorises its matches into different batches; Category A matches against the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are expensive, but lower category games against newly promoted teams or smaller Premier League teams can often see the price reduced to a reasonable amount.
If looking for a cut price ticket, seats in the lower tier of the North West corner - block 110 or upper tiers of the North and South Stand blocks 451 - 453 and 514 - 516 are usually amongst the cheapest on offer.
Due to the numerous competitions that Tottenham usually participates in, there will be matches where tickets across the ground will be cheaper. If you want to experience the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at a cost-effective price, target the early rounds of the Carabao and FA Cups, as a more family atmosphere is usually promoted. Summer friendly matches are usually priced at a discount.
If this is my first trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where should I sit?
If this is your first trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, there are many great places to sit.
The East and West Stands offer fantastic views across the sidelines of the pitch and will enable you to view all of the action easily.
If you want to play your part in the ‘wall of sound’ a seat in the South Stand is advised.
Where should I sit for a more premium experience?
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium offers ample opportunity to watch a Tottenham game in style. If you wish to take up one of the many different hospitality packages on offer, you can watch the game in the dedicated middle tiers in both the East and West Stands.
Are there any obstructed views at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
Wherever you sit, you will be given a clear view of the pitch, there are no seats that have any clear obstacles in front of them.
What seats are closest to the toilets?
With each stand having its own concourse area, there are an abundance of toilets that are within easy access of your seat. There are over 500 toilets across the stadium which should mean your nearest toilet is never too far away.
Where is the best place to sit with family?
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a fantastic place to make memories, and within the stadium, there are dedicated areas for families to sit.
Although there isn’t a dedicated family stand, blocks 109, 110, 416, 417, 510, 511 and 512 are all reserved for families and are located across all three tiers of the North Western corner of the stadium.
Sitting in these blocks should make the atmosphere slightly less intense than in other parts of the ground. These blocks are at the opposite sides to where the away fans and fans in the South Stand are located.
Junior tickets are valid for children up to 18 years old. Any child under the age of 16 must attend the game with an adult. Children of all ages can attend matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but it is advised that due to the loud atmosphere of football matches, children under the age of six may find the atmosphere daunting.
Young children may find the atmosphere in games against Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham particularly intimidating. Tottenham also advise that no children should attend a game in the South Stand.
If I am going to the game with disabled supporters, where should I look to sit?
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been designed with accessibility in mind. There are plenty of seats across all levels and tiers of the stadium that have wheelchair platforms and seats for those with limited mobility. Two of the most popular blocks for disabled fans can be found in blocks 104 and 105.
For those wanting to take people to the game on the autistic spectrum, there is a dedicated sensory suite located in the North Stand in block 416. Games can be watched both inside and outside the suite.
Where do away fans sit?
The away end at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is located in the lower tier of the Northern Stand. Usually, 3,000 away fans are in attendance.
The dedicated away end blocks are in blocks 114 - 118.
Where can I sit for VIP access?
If you want to watch a game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in style, there are several different hospitality packages on offer.
